Update Game Data

Ive had issues with this new patch for a couple days now. I came back to the game after a long vacation from it, and had to reinstall the client. At first I was experiencing the problem of logging into the client, selecting my server, going past the mini movie, and it shutting down saying i had the wrong client version.

So I uninstalled, downloaded the new reinstall, and did that.

Now, when its patching, it gets to Update Game Data, and it stays at 0% while the files are being uploaded. The 0% continues on well after it should have moved up to 1%, 2%.

After a while, it will shut down and say "error, file purged"

Ive tried using the new installer and the updater, ive tried a fresh install and manual update. What is going on.

Using the Mod 6 downloadable patch on a fresh install will cause errors. Please uninstall the game and reinstall and allow it to patch through the launcher. Do not apply the Mod 6 download. This should allow you to update. If you get the wrong client error, we can troubleshoot that after you have patched fully.
