Scourge Choker - love it or hate it?

I've been fooling around with mine and I gotta admit I'm noticing the drawbacks more than the benefits.

Even when you're getting hit you invariably get the melee slowdown at some point, and it's plain painful.

How many people out there love their Scourge Choker?

How many wear it ALL the time?

Don't wear it all the time. When you're clearing trash it slows you down. When you're trying to DPS a hard hitting boss, it's the best item you could possibly wear in that slot.

love it wear it all the time on my ranger.
I have had to take it off in the Shroud Part 1 and some new stuff when doing the portals and I can't control the speed or lack of speed at which combat moves.

it's ****. I tried it for awhile got tired of it and traded it. You couple that thing with Madstone boots and you end up not being able to use anything.....running around like the bionic man(but with no sound effects). I can see it being used for end bosses maybe....but for real it's not the end all be all for a Barb to have like most people have made it out to be.

Madstone rage prevents you from using spells or clickies. The choker has nothing to do with that.

It's not super, it's nice tho, and I use more often than not.

I find that after a set of mobs is dead, I'll slow down, which is fine...and only have a couple seconds left of debuff, if that, by the next mob.......

if you're gettin hit you aren't slow often enough to worry about it. boss fights are a blast.
