Default Two issues, G15 keyboard and mouse wheel

After the patch, my keyboard (Logitech G15) macro keys no longer work. I checked all of the keymapping settings in DDO, and reset all of the macros in the Keyboard Manager... but they still don't work in the game. Any ideas?

The second issue is minor: the wheel scroll on the mouse no longer controls camera zoom. I tried to reset this in keymapping, but can't choose "wheel" as a mapping choice for zoom. Again, any ideas?

I suppose I should also state that I'm running Vista and had to completely re-install DDO due to some UAC issues. I don't know if this is related or not. But, as stated above I have reset everything back to the way it was and still a no-go.

As far as the g-15 macro settings, unfortunately I have no information to help you on those, I don't use one and the game doesn't actually run the keyboard macros.

As far as the mouse scroll thats a mouse function (not a option you choose ingame) Mine does it by default (have a Microsoft laser intellimouse)

I hear you on the keyboard issue... it was working previously, but not now. Just thought something in the new partial G15 support might be blocking the macros or the like.

As for the mouse, again, same mouse was working before. I thought scroll wheel zoom was default... but I found that the scroll wheel doesn't work at all in DDO (even for menus, vendors, etc.). But it works fine outside of DDO... strange.

Well, to anyone with similar issues using Vista: If you have enabled dndclient.exe to run as administrator (for the reasons outlined in the "you do not have current version installed" thread), you will also need to enable your keyboard and mouse managing programs to run as administrator. Then everything will play nice, rainbows will appear and puppies will dance and frolic in meadows of clover. Oh yes, and kobolds will die. Horribly.

I am having the same problem as well. I use the 3rd mouse button for target selection and since the update it doesn't work at all. Really frustrating on a sorc I'm not on Vista tho.

I've got Windows 7, and had to do the same thing (run the MouseMan software as "Administrator") to get my Logitech G5 Mouse button mappings to work properly. This was independent of DDO though - they wouldn't work for ANY software until I did that.
