Seems banishing weapons are going to go up in Value with this new mod, Seems What use to be a less than desirable weapon/spell has changed slighty. Whats your take fella's? Oddy

I'm still debating on taking the spell since most of the other insta-kills still work well. But my team was banishing the heck out of everything very easily with weapons.

Officer of Pestilence. Looting's our business and business was good until the Dev's ruined the game by making everything exclusive, bound to account, and ridiculously trivial.

Can't agree more...and became evident very quickly. All my level appropriate characters have one now. Velorn got his last night. Krule not only has the Banishment spell but a banishing dagger as well...if he so needs to use it.

Banishers don't work on creatures with 25 HD or more....

I imagine most of these outsiders have more once you get to hard....maybe I'm wrong.

I ran the Crimson Spider quest primarily, which I think might become the new loot run, and from what I saw, the "paralyzers suck now waa waa waa" whine is going to end too. Paralyzer stock should rise, as should any other weapon that incapacitates rather than DPS's, like weakening of enfeebling.

I also see Fearsome armors becoming a situational must have for everybody, not just clerics and casters, even including Intimitanks. Fear rules that quest for getting the spiders to leave you alone and get out of the way.

Problem will be that while the Spell works pretty well, the normal weapons have a HD limit and many of the mobs might exceed the HD cap so there will be no effect. Now some are suspectible, pretty sure.

I have 4 banishers in my bank, unused, ready to trade. See Eldun, its psychology manipulation 101. It’s the left jab before the straight right. It's elementary my dear Watson LOL
