I often get thank yous, which I find kind of weird because all I'm doing is my job as a cleric (she's a nicely gimped healtbot type).

After drawing the slot of Cleric way back in headstart, when it was just six rl friends trying to stay in touch from across the country, there are a few clerics that stick out in my mind.

Dolarrah and Desiderius - the first two high level clerics to show me the ropes. Never got tired of dumbass questions or moves, and always lent a hand. They still do, not just for me, but for everyone (and for me - I'm a slow learner). Both excellent clerics in their own right.

Lendra - Here's your props, Shadowfox! Top notch Battle Cleric, was the only build (and ability to play that came with that) that ever made me consider rebuilding grandpa Gwyar. Fortunately I got over it...me as a battle cleric...the game really would be over then... the servers would pour water on themselves to make me stop!

Twoheals - only ran in a group once. Still, amazing. Reminds me of the time I ran with Axer in a quest. Obviously, different, but same sense of seeing a master at work. Where does this time to play come from? If you guys are independently wealthy, will you adopt me?

Niennah - Just **** near the nicest player you could ask for, and still manages to put me to shame in the cleric world. Being a top 20 cleric doesn't mean you have to be the "uberest", sometimes it's the intangibles that set someone apart.

And finally myself, for without Gwyar, every other cleric on Khyber would be one notch lower on the rankings! Thanks to everyone who runs a cleric - those who do, know (no matter how much some whine about being underappreciated {man are we underappreciated }) it's the best class in the game!

Stand back from that trophy. Ask around, my "Cleric" is shall we say... less that optimal. Lotario is his name, but he's lovingly reffered to as "Retardio" by his party members. He does get the last laugh though... He get's to cast the Res on them when they didn't get that heal thing they needed

Twoheals. He stands out more than anyone else I have run with since launch. The next best cleric is Twohealstwo his other cleric. Ask him before you start a quest how many sp he has and then realize how effortlessly he makes it seem on far less sp than most clerics have now. And he never complains about how hard someone is to heal. He is a standout player to begin with , one of the best to play with period. After him Saaluta, Salima, Robohode, Hallz, Mavnomo, Dergert, Benton, Alystria, Korix, Xeku, Toonubez, Soulzen stick out in my mind. If I forgot someone I apologize. More vorpals for you!

Hehe, just thought I'd bring a little humor in; and cast my vote for Twoheals, Soulzen, Benton, Xeku, Runescar and countless other clerics who will let me run around on my fighter when I want to blow off a little steam and keep me alive.

I have to throw out my guild's clerics: Doktr, Nilla, Mrcure, Pinkz, and Jackietj... We are a small guild and all, but I think cleric is our strongest class overall for our guild. Special heads up to: Twoheals, Saaluta, and Torrosar. I have not run with many of the other clerics listed too frequently or they are not very active players right now, although I should mention Mavnomo's work in the abbot raid. He is better known for his sorc though..

Sorry Zenix - I believe you have shown improvement over the years, while my skills resemble an unplugged heart monitor in their growth! You can be second to the bottom though, if you so choose, but I am sure some out there would argue with that even!

Usually, very good clerics only play with friends and guildies and surely won't PUG or very VERY rarely (= when bored). Can't see how you could set an accurate list of the best 20 clerics when most ppl wil probly have never played with 19 of the real best 20

I tend to PUG a lot. And I recognize a lot of the names in this thread. Maybe I just keep getting added to friend/guildie groups as that extra sixth wheel?
