I'm wondering if there are plans to update the DDO game manual to level 16? The last one I've seen is from Dec, 2007, that brought things up to level 12......

The current User Manual .pdf was created on 23 Oct, 2006 with the level cap increase to 12. We did not get a new manual with the level cap increase to 14. I would like to see a new L16 User Manual, but am not hopeful. User Manuals usually cover game systems, and not that much has changed. What I'd really like to see is a comprehensive correcting and update of the Online Compendium. /fingers crossed.
There was an update in Dec 2007 at least tht when it came out, although the date is Oct. 2006 (my bad on he year)An update of all the info contained therein would help many players. And really help out the newer players the most.... If you don't ahve an understanding of the game at high level and what the possibilites with builds are, how could a new player possibly ever have a chance to build a toon? An idea of the feats and enhancements lines, as well as the changes in when you get new feats and abilites, that are sometimes different than any version of PnP. A compelte new list of spells availble to classes and when etc etc etc.....
And yes, I agree the compendium woudl be a nice thign to have updated as well.
Unfortunately, the User Manual contains little info on feats and no info on items, spells, or enhancements (only on how to cast, train, equip items, etc.). So, the Compendium is really the place for all of this info. The one thing from the User Manual that needs to be brought back to the Compendium is the class progression tables for BAB/saves/spell slots/SP. Players are forced to go to 3rd party sites for this info and it saddens me. (I do like and contribute to 3rd party site info, but players should be able to get the info first hand from Turbine.)
The web site is probably the one thing I wish Turbine did like WoW. Up to date, current information, correct information, stats on spells, objects, races, gear, etc.
