Ogres on Sorrowdusk Isle worshiping my bard?!?

To start out on a funny note. The Ogres of Sorrowdusk Isle are worshiping my bard. (She is pretty hot.) It's a little strange though, as they have taken to carving my bard's likeness into the stones on the island.

Ladies and gents, I hereby rename this land Dusklight Isle, in honor of the beautiful (and well-played) bard which the ogres have taken to worshiping as a goddess!

Now, in all honesty, I am having an interesting problem with my graphics, and it appears only on Sorrowdusk. It looks like my computer is taking whatever graphics template it feels like to apply to various objects, or just randomly on my screen. My character's face has been a popular theme to show up on random objects and in random places on my screen, but I have had the lightning on my sword displayed as a two-dimensional static image across the screen, rendering the game unplayable, among other things. I can minimize out, and when I come back it's ok, but it just does it again, and I don't know why.

I have been running the game on the same hardware since beta, with a graphics card upgrade last May. I have never had any issues with the game. I just had to replace my harddrive and reinstall everything a couple of weeks ago though, so I'm thinking that there is something I installed that's causing this, or something I need to yet install to solve this problem, but I was hoping one of those computer geniuses out there trolling the forums might help me before I play email tag with tech support for a few weeks.

I can't imagine it's a hardware problem, as so far I have ONLY encountered this problem with my bard on Sorrowdusk, and only in this game. (Though I am having a display issue with my mouse icon in another, unnamed MMORPG...)

Any useful suggestions to resolve this, (Or comments on the pics! Hey, I'm annoyed by this but it IS kind of funny in a way.) would be appreciated.

Sounds like some file corruption, but luckily only in your sorrowdusk texture files.

Redownloading/re-installing the client from ddo.com and repatching should fix that.

Keep in mind it could be your original download or CD that is corrupt so grab a fresh one.
