Default Not sure if those goes here or general so i'll put it here

I remember reading either after the release or right before the release of Mod 6 that the bloody crypt and shadow crypt will be fixed to where the quest givers will reset THOSE quests only. They still have not been fixed and thus remain to more mindless questing and as one of the first Litany of the dead quests, can't remember which off hand can not be soloed as it needs a minimum of 4 people (creatures) to complete. Which thus adds to non completion and inability to do the crypt. Is this still to be fixed or not? I would like to see what new "named" items drop in the bloody crypt as well as the ability to run the shadow crypt a few times. Still some decent items to drop in there and no one ever does those quests at level as some are to boring or quite difficult for the unprepaired party.

Can someone shed some light here?

If I'm not mistaken they were in a weekly dev release thingy.

If you have completed the 4 tombs, then those questgivers reset the Crypt only. If you have not (re-)completed the tombs, then the Crypt questgivers reset the whole chain. Unfortunately, they are chain quests and you must complete the entire chain each time.

I understand that they are chain quests, but in a WDA it was stated that the crypt quest givers will now reset just the crypts or the entire chain on your choosing. This has still not been fixed as far as I know.

I don't recall seeing that notice. Not that that means anything.

Nope, it just said that Loremistress Jinna would be more specific in what she would advance/reset.

Loremistress Jinna is now nicer about what she resets and when.

Btw the burning heart can be soloed, using stuff like halt undead, pets, trip... I did it on my barbarian in order to keep the bloody crypt open.

It would be nice if they would fix all of the quest chain resetting issues - they add nothing but annoyance to the game. Having someone in group who can't get credit for Threnal because they talked to Jan once too many times after completing West Threnal, or perhaps said the wrong thing to Sal after completing East, etc. only detracts from everyone's fun. Similar with the crypt chains, although the end rewards for those are so bad that no-one cares, you only need one person to perfectly advance the quest chain without accidentally talking to the same quest-giver twice, then at least the group can get into the last quest.

The fact that there is no standardization, every quest is different, and there are huge land mines out there for new people who haven't had years of experience to adjust to the complicated idiosyncracies of the quest bestowing processes implemented at different times in DDO is a major annoyance in those cases where people can prevent themselves from being able to advance by talking to the wrong person at the wrong time.

Devs, please take some time to do some housekeeping on this, it shouldn't be too technically difficult to straighted out quest bestowing, and would prevent much frustration for your customers. That's my 2 cents anyway.
