    Default Gamers Headset recommendations

I was wondering what the general DDO population uses for their headset needs..

I've been using a cheap Logitech USB headset for the last year and a half since my last no-name set died on me. This one, while its been good to me, has started to fail - ingame (and other) audio works intermittently, and in-game Voice Chat does not receive - but will send, so the mic isn't shot yet. Ventrillo doesn't seem to send or receive, so I've had it off for the last week or so.

In the next couple of days, I'll be ordering something new but haven't stumbled across any that just shout 'buy me!'. I'd like to stay under $50USD if possible..

So.. what do you folks use and what do you suggest? (p.s. using my speaker system for general gaming is out due to, ahh, environmental issues)

    thanks

I don't think mine is technically a usb one. It has two plugs, one for the input, and one for the output (Which is on the front of my laptop.) I had some issues with my GAM (I was TOO loud) but aside from that, despite I beat the ever lovin' snot out of it, it works really really well. My husband has a double earphone set like that, and I have a single. (I don't have brands, but that is the type that works really well for us)

I use A Logitech head set (Under $50-)
It has been fairly good to me.

It is a two prong head set with a usb adapter.

I have been on it for a little over a month and have
had no problems, other than operator Error...

This is my second one and the main reason I got this one is that
my previous one was passed on to my son.

He finally got his own account.
