    Question 1
What is your favorite DDO creature and why?
Kobold, cause they are good with Catchup, Baked, boiled or Fried.

    Question 2
How often do you play DDO?
Not so much lately, family issues took me away and broke my MMO monkey.

    Question 3
What was the most difficult aspect about DDO when you were a new player?
Hmm, Not much, its not a difficult game, but if pressed I'd say adapting to 3.5's rules from my AD&D memories.

    1. I still really like the beholders (even with the dispel not being proper). They float around nicely, make great sounds, and lick their own eyeballs!
    2. It varies between daily and 3 times/week.
    3. I'm a mouselook guy, and I still have not become as efficient as I would like at switching out of mouselook when necessary to actually click on things. So, I guess that's a UI problem for me.

    1. The dragons in gianthold tor--they are just itty bitty baby type dragons, but they are a much more interesting encounter than Velah.
    2. 15 hours a week.
    3. Grouping with people who are foul-mouthed, mean-spirited, or plain old jerks.

    This week's question(s) are:

    Question 1
What is your favorite DDO creature and why?
Besides Kargon? Elementals. I have a little trouble remembering which wepon attribute works best against which monsters (low complexity treshold, I guess), but with elementals it's pretty clear. Their appearance and animation really surprised me when I first saw them.

    Question 2
How often do you play DDO?
Actual questing - 2.5 times a week. Once a week, I can actually play for more than ninety minutes! Inventory, auction, and ten minute slayer runs - daily.

    Question 3
What was the most difficult aspect about DDO when you were a new player?
Transitioning to an MMO environment. My AD&D campaign days (early '80's) were a bit off the the beaten path, and I'd grown accustomed to FPS games. The social aspects were / are still not second nature, to me. The pace of grouping I had (and still have) trouble with, but I've found some no-rush / learning / exploring types lately.

    1. my favorite mobs arent in the game (aka fey/sidhe/nymph, and the iconic tarrasque)

    2. daily..... okay hourly

    3. finding loot (I was level 7 before I got my very first elemental weapon, and it was a +1 shock longsword )

    Favorite Creature:
For some reason I'm going to go with mindflayer. Regardless of where one is it always strikes a bit of fear into me when I have the threat of the brainsucker lurking around.

    Play Time:
    Too much
Probably around 6 hours a day, less if I have plenty of stuff to do during the week.

    Difficulty Starting:
Honestly, adapting from traditional online games to this one. The controls took me a while to master.

    1. Jarrilith. I hate it so much, that when I see one, I take a perverse pleasure in ending it's existence.

    2. I play about three times a week, usually for about a three hour stretch.

    3. The most difficult thing for me as a new player was not realizing that this game didn't directly translate everything from Pen and Paper. Granted, I know why now, but at the time I made some characters creation choices using PnP knowledge, that I regretted later once I learned the game a bit better.

    1. Velah was my first love i think like most, tor dragons, and stonegiants. I think i pulled in the whole house on day one of mod four when i saw my first stonegiant

    2. Well, every day all day, cept for naps and misc to do lists.

    3. When i stepped off the boat i had no clue, none. Didnt know where to go, didnt know what did what. Talked to all npc's, did all of the starter quests. Didnt know how to send tells, or respond to tells, or find groups. Wasnt very newb friendly, many times in those first hours i almost gave up, glad i didnt obviously.

    Question 1
What is your favorite DDO creature and why?

Beholders!! I love them because it shows how much a good or bad roll on a d20 can effect the outcome of combat. I also love their death animation with their tongue hanging out.

    Question 2
How often do you play DDO?

20 to 40 hours a week. 20 when no new content is available, 40 after releases of mods

    Question 3
What was the most difficult aspect about DDO when you were a new player?

Selecting gear. For some odd reason i just assumed that if you had a +1 dex ring and a +3 dex gloves they stacked =)

    Question 1
What is your favorite DDO creature and why?

Beholders - they're just really well implemented, I think.

    Question 2
How often do you play DDO?

    About 6-10 hours a week.

    Question 3
What was the most difficult aspect about DDO when you were a new player?

That would be experienced players who zerged. I had such a hard time figuring out where to go and what I was doing when I first started because it was all moving so quickly. The rush to keep up also kept me from learning the quests and maps, an issue I continue to struggle with.

    Question 1:
Beholders, for some reason I love killing these guys.

    Question 2:
When I'm on break from classes, probably 3-4 days a week. While classes are in session, maybe 1-2 days a week.

    Question 3:
The different roles that classes have in DDO. I always played Clerics and Rogues in PnP, and so my first character was a cleric in DDO, and I was way off-base in some assumptions.

    Question 1
What is your favorite DDO creature and why?

I love Velah, I just you make her fly on Hard and Elite. Can you imagine how totally incredibly awesome that would be.

    Question 2
How often do you play DDO?

I play four or five sessions a week, or about 20 hours.

    Question 3
What was the most difficult aspect about DDO when you were a new player?

I was soo lost, I remember being in water works the first time and having no clue where anyone was. I now ask everyone if they have done the adventures when I am in the harbor.

    Question 1
What is your favorite DDO creature and why?

Warforged Titan, by far. He's just the coolest thing ever. A giant, walking construct. His storyline is great, and the encounter has to be the best I've ever seen.

    Question 2
How often do you play DDO?

Almost every day. I'd say on average, 6 days a week, for 3 hours a day?

    Question 3
What was the most difficult aspect about DDO when you were a new player?

Combat. I had come from WoW, where I was so used to auto-attacking and skills. Was hard to adjust.

Ummm, female elves .. then female drow ... er ... ahh. Sorry. I don't recall seeing many "true" orc in Ebberon yet are there any?

As often as I can. Since I've renewed my subscription. I've been back about 3 weeks now and find myself in Ebberon every night after work, and all day and most the nights on weekends. (Of course I'm single and have no commitments so it makes it easy!)

As a new player to DDO, it was really just getting use to the new commands and use of the keyboard. But its all good, even with the break I took, comming back to DDO seemed second nature.

Kobolds. Love them kobolds. Theres a kobold for almost every class, they scale up pretty well on hard and elite (Elite kobolds are truly hard to take down at appropriate levels), and they are traditional low level enemies.

    Question 2
How often do you play DDO?

I work on a drilling rig in canada, so I get either no time to play (while at work), or 10hours a day (while at home).

    Question 3
What was the most difficult aspect about DDO when you were a new player?

The dang wavecrest 10kobold quest. My rogue had to go through that like 12 times before succeeding. At least they fixed that hehe

Reavers, I just love the look.

Question 2 - How often do you play DDO?
    Daily

Question 3 - What was the most difficult aspect about DDO when you were a new player?
Discovering the differences between DDO / DnD 3.5 and the AD&D I used to play
Map(insert something here to finish the name)
Leonius and Eyore (don't ask, it's a guild thing)

    Question 1
What is your favorite DDO creature and why?
So hard to chose....Giants when I am on my ranger. Undead on my cleric. Ooooo the mindflayers are cool too. Oh wait...well it would never end.

    Question 2
How often do you play DDO?
Every night. As soon as the littles are off to bed. Sometimes in the afternoon on the weekends during their naptime and before mine.

    Question 3
What was the most difficult aspect about DDO when you were a new player?
Drowning......and finding which gamma setting allowed me to see the mushrooms in STK. My husband had to come over to see why I could not find my way out and realized the problem. I hated STK for a full year and did everything but that in my hatred. Now, I love it.

    Question 1
What is your favorite DDO creature and why?

Beholders - Because everyone freaks out and your uber-buffing (I call Buffs "Gimp Makeup") is gone Hehe

    Question 2
How often do you play DDO?

Too much in the past, not enough nowadays.

    Question 3
What was the most difficult aspect about DDO when you were a new player?

Plat, Gear and getting into a Good Raiding Guild. That has changed dramatically since the bar has been lowered in the Raid-World and nowadays anyone can Raid and be well equipped. And I don't say that in a good way

    Question 1
What is your favorite DDO creature and why?
My favourite DDO creature is probably Velah, she has a definite 'wow' factor and everyone hence remembers their first dragon run as something special

    Question 2
How often do you play DDO?
It varies greatly with my workload, sometimes just a couple of hours a night to maybe 5 or 6 hours a night. There is usually a night or 2 a week i hardly play.

    Question 3
What was the most difficult aspect about DDO when you were a new player?
I have played a ranger as my main since headstart and i had great difficulty at times getting a group, there is definite bias against rangers out there.. and i believe it still exists in the game even now. Nevertheless, that was the most difficult thing for me at times.

    1. Beholders. They have been made exactly like what a real beholder would both act and look like. I love they way it shows them cleaing their eyestalks by licking them. Gross but how else would a creature with no hands clean them?

    2. Don't want to say but I get wife aggro entirely too much.....

    3. Getting use to not zerging, have been playing computer games my entire life, but having to learn to wait and go with the group, even when I know which way to go was hard.
You say I'm crazy, like that's a bad thing?
