It's a pretty dumb thing to say because he could have just moved on and ignored the thread if he doesn't trust Nick.

You can say the same about anything....you could have ignored his post about not trusting the OP, but you chose instead to make a remark.

PS posting alot does not make you important or relevant, it means you post alot. I pay attention to those that are Devs, Forums Managers, and make good or helpful posts. The rest get clumped into the 'irrelevant' category. Please note that is a general statement, not directed specifically to you.

I know I could have, but I have interest. Nick is one of my best friends and somebody doubting his trustworthiness publicly should expect his good friends to comment.

Sorry if you read my post as 'holier than thou', it's just that this is an internet forum and the OP assumed that people knew who he was. There are thousands and thousands of people that read and post in these forums and quite frankly, you can't assume anyone knows who you are. I'm glad that the 3 of you all play together ingame and post together on the forums but that isn't the standard. And as for assuming the OP is untrustworthy......this trade forum is full of people that say and do the most irrational stuff, so at least I personally take every single post in these forums with a grain of salt. People want to trade a +1 vorpal kama for boots of the innocent and are serious...people want 100k plat to escort you through the Orchard... You can say someone jumped on your friend Nick, but as I read it, I saw 2 people jump on some random guy because he made a post in your friend's thread.

On topic: Sorry, I used up all my Enervation cakes. Better used than taking up bank space. Didn't think there was much market for all but the shield + rez cakes.

That's fine if that's your interpretation, but in reality there was no reason for him to make his post. He didn't have to publicly express his distrust, he could have just ignored it.

Since he decided to publicly express his distrust, we decided to publicly express our feelings about denouncing our friend.

These responses would never have occurred had the poster in question not felt the urge to bash the OP.

on the trade thread forums people do not ever, in my experience or anyone i have ever talked to's experience, not mail items/plat after saying they will, since this is a public forum, if you scam someone everyone will know and the scammer would be word of mouth black listed across the entire server. just like when someone is kind of a jerk word gets around and people and guilds are avoided

Although I do think that a person is being a little bit harsh on you Oronisi, I also agree with other poeple. If that is how you felt, you could have just ignored it. Along a handful of other people, (actually, I think you are just about the only one on the argo forum that doesn't know Nick), I know that Nick is a very trustworthy and great guy.

You are the minority here man.

My point of posting and agreeing is not to personally attack you like others have done, however. I do think you should get to know people on Argo forum though since you don't even know Nick. Maybe you have had a bad experience in the past, but all people I know are not like that, and every on the Argo forum are great people.
