Level 2 and beyond spells?

Just earned level 3 last night. Huzzah!

Where do I get new level 2 spells? Chest drops and Auction house only?

I managed to get a fairly robust set of level 1 spells by the time I leveled up to 3, but nada for level 2. Been playing for just under a month, so Im still getting the feel for things.

There are two vendors in the Marketplace tent which sell 1st and 2nd level scrolls.

Also in the tent is a vendor which will sell you 1st and 2nd level inscription materials to scribe the scrolls into your spellbook.

Higher level scrolls can be found at vendors in House P and the Portable Hole (accessible via Teleport spell).

I'm sure I'm missing more, but these are the ones which come to mind.

Find a group to run the Water Works so that you do not waste the gold to get into the Market Place entrance. The Level 2 scrolls are found in the market place tent on the ground floor and the components are found in one of the upper rope ladders. If you need a map there are several out to find it but it's not bad. Just get to the market place and look for the BIG TENT on the map...ha,ha....Good luck in your adventures.....and Great choice for going Wiz.....If you have any questions PM or send a tell to me in game if you are on thelanis

Waterworks gets you price discounts in teh harbor.
Shan-to-kor gets you price discounts in the marketplace.

If you have run Waterworks, but have not run Shan-to-Kor, it is better to buy spell inscription materials in the harbor. You'll still need to buy scrolls in the marketplace tent, but the inscription materials are expensive for a new player, and they are probably cheaper in the harbor for you.

The scroll vendors in the market tent are the Wyrmtouched sisters (Lorna, and...can never remember the other one's name). One sells level 1 scrolls, the other level 2, so check both if you don't find what you need on the first one. They're standing pretty much right next to each other.
