What in the X'endrik world ...

Hey guys,

Me and the other caster in my guild are wondering what in the world does "efficacy" accomplish? We bot have either greater or superior efficacy items and we can't really tell what difference it makes. Can someone shine some light on this issue?

efficacy is like a clicky version of potency, a superior efficacy items will add 50% damage to all your spells when activated for 30 seconds I believe, greater is 40%, improved is 30% lesser is 10 and just straight efficasy is 20%

Get the item in your hot key bars. First click will put the item in your hand. Second click will activate the efficacy. Then fire off your firewall or what not. You should see a big difference in damage output. Test it against your friend in PvP, if you'd like. It will stack with any of your enhancements, but will not stack with something like an item with an inferno bonus (a damage output bonus, just like efficacy, but that only works with fire spells). You can also buy efficacy potions in House P.

Also, I'm pretty sure that as long as you get the firewall off before the 30 seconds expires, the bonus will last for the duration of the firewall.
