Positive is always the recessive shard in an element and positive dual shard combination. The element being the dominant shard.
The chart simply has a typo

There is now an entry for Freezing Ice guard on the main page, although it had not been mentioned in any posts to the thread (and the description is only included as a JPG link, instead of being copied to text like the others)
That means the only tier 3 combo really unknown is the Neg-Water Corrosive Salt clothing effect.
Im going to pull my finger out and do some updates shortly.

Umm, got this backwards for tier 3To upgrade a Balance of Land and Sky Item you need a Tempered Shard and Blanace of Land and Sky for Tempered Item
Balance of Land and Sky..+[ Water.....+ Fire.....].= Elemental Mastery - Weapon / Accessory
Tempered.................+[ Earth.....+ Air......].= Elemental Mastery - Weapon / Accessory
dumb question, as I have been AFG (Away from Game) for a while... I heard that there is a recipe for Green Steel Handwraps, but for some User-Error (I am sure) reason, I can't find it... can anyone point me in the right direction here?
Dworkin, Benedict, Gerard, Vialle, Beldin... too many to list

I have seen hints that steam guard may have a hidden effect giving your weapons a transmuting type effect for a short time. Has anyone played with this guard enough to verify?
If you are talking about something like this I have it ...
Gloves - FGB
MEW/MON/EOW+EON
HP+10,Str+1,F,P,W+2,Salt II
This was indeed bugged as Good Guard (unlisted) on Items for some time.Triple Earth earthgrab was one of the first few tier 3 combos to be discovered, and everyone knows about it. Probably you should look over the format of those crafting sites more carefully, because you're missing something.
