    Default A salute

yesterday i ran dq2 with my cleric. at first we had no problem, easily taking lailat down to 20% of her health. then things went downhill. some of the casters were unable to maintain the agro leading to lailat closing on one of the group. there were frantic raises, heal and some scrambling about. due to the situation, i had to jump down so that we could regroup and try salvage the situation. at this point of time, my connection dropped and needed sometime to reconnect but the group remained. while trying my best to get people up, the raid leader commented that this is a failed attempt and wanted to regroup. however, several members were still trying to regroup for a final push which would definately get it done. then, another dq2 group started. the raid leader then proceeded to announce he was going to join it and left. hearing that, many left too.

it came down to Odiss, Drimen, Acasha, Mois and me. the 5 of us regrouped, Odiss took up the role of the spotter, Drimen healed Acasha and Mois who were blasting the queen. i stayed safe as the backup. due to the small number of players, we had a few wipes up on the platfom. each time, i'll res the floating ghost up and restart the process. in the end, we took dq down so low that one hit from Drimen, on our final push, was sufficient to defeat her.

i thus raise my cup, toasting and saluting these fine players. i salute you for having the courage to attempt something deemed as long gone by many. i salute you for having the preserverance to stick it to the end, even when it meant many deaths. i salute you for your personality, never a word of complaint was heard during the entire raid, finishing it was the priority. i salute you, for the person that you are, laughing together when we opened up the warded chest to find +1 fecal armors of waste.

to Odiss, Drimen, Acasha, Mois. you guys rock! THANK YOU.....
If you want to know why...
