Do warforged casters get the warforged toughness action point line?

According to the compendium under the enhancements for WF:

    http://www.ddo.com/index.php?page_id...ce:5&cmi=6:r:5

WF do not get the toughness enhancement line as a race enhancer. So I do not believe that they do unless in game differs from the online compendium (which wouldn't surprise me =)

    Hope that helps

No, Warforged, although being a + Con race like Dwarves do not get a racial Toughness enhancement line for some reason. (I think it's cause the dev's are prejudiced against WF and know if they equaled things out we would rule Stormreach).

It would kinda make sense/be consistent with the Dwarves. I suppose they're just wanting to provide differences between the races to keep every character from being the same cookie-cutter build. I wouldn't object to it - personally, it was a bit of a stretch for Dwarves to get it about a month after the gianthold went in.

Actually, the reason why WF lack the Toughness enhancement line is because they get the Power Attack enhancement line. Dwarves don't get that. Feat for Feat. So called 'equaling' would mean not only giving WF the Toughness enhancement line but also giving Dwarves the PA enhancements. Dwarves would then be king >.>

By this logic elves and halflings should probably get a racial precision or mobility line.

Agreed, or by that logic Warforged should get a weapon line of "swords".....

Warforged have Immunities and power attack enhancements we also have the hatred enhancements which allow us to draw more agro if we so desire. Sure it would be nice to get a specific weapon bonus but the basic character description in the Eberron campaign setting doesn't include a favored weapon. Maybe the race as a whole is too young and to diverse to lean towards any specific weapon. As far as toughness goes I think the power attack enhancements are almost as good especially when you couple it with the immunities and add in hot swapable docents. Isn't the theory that you don't need as many hp and ac if you can kill something faster?

I always thought the real reason was because 320+ hp wf wizards/sorcs who can reconstruct themselves would be to overpowered.

More than likely, cause following the "logic" & "lore" arguments the dwarven faith enhancement makes me scratch my head...

it could also mean taking away the PA enhancements from the WF.

As compared to 320+ hp dwarven clerics that can heal themselves?

Hey, leave us out of this argument.

Nothing to see here folks. Nothing to see.

Back to talking about Warforged not getting the toughness enhancement lines.

yes...of course. Not even close, clerics are supposed to be able to heal themselves, they have disadvantages in other areas...
