Would a Wiz VI Ring (no RR) get me a WP Rapier in a Trade ?

Only if someone was looking for the Ring really badly.

I managed to trade a Wiz VI helm for a Kardins Eye, because they wanted the helm bad enough. Mind you, I totally screwed up the next trade using the Kardins Eye. But thats another story :P

If someone out there wants the ring bad enough, you might get a w/p dagger or ss....but chances are low IMO.

not IMO... skiver does 200 sp and the pages are farmable.. w/p weapons are not as well as there is nothing beter than a w/p rapier.

you cant even trade a full tome book for a w/p rapier.

If you want a WP Rapier, you have to be willing to put up the best, and most desired, items in game for trade. That is certainly one of the best SP items you can get and in a prime slot but, as mentioned earlier, there is always Skiver and on top of that Magi is only 50 SP less and those are all over the place.

About the only way you'd get a W/P weapon in trade is if you find someone in game who has no idea of the value of the W/P weapon, doesn't care about the value of the weapon or doesn't play fighters and isn't interested in the weapon. They are out there, just not here

Not going to try it on others but I do think there are some hard core players tha have multiple WP Rapiers and might need a Wiz 6 item in the ring slot
