Default What do I want to see for Mod 7

Mod 5 was the Caster Mod, looks like Mod 6 will be the melee Mod....

What do I want to see for Mod 7?

    1. More Epic feeling boss battles, not just raid bosses but quest bosses too. Why does every boss fight gotta either be 6 on 1 or 6 on 1 with a bunch of fodder??? Why not a 6 on 4 fight or even a 6 on 8 fight... Casters, clerics, maybe a rogue and a barbarian that we face off against? Maybe a boss who has hired one of each of those to work for him against those "pesky do gooders of Stormreach."

    2. More traps, more chests, more OPTIONALS, more uses for skills (can I please use my heal skill on an NPC and maybe get some help or something?)

    3. A quasi random dungeon, one that does not stay the same, a different experience each time. I dont know if the game tech can support it but I would absolutly LOVE a zone that had random traps in it, (maybe even some that aren't obviously disarmable) with new and exciting ways for my cleric to watch his teammates get killed off. (Uhm I mean try to solve).

    4. One real ball buster, endurance type quest. Have it be a quest that is very easily completed (by comparison)for almost no loot (1 chest) and little xp, and have all of the real loot and xp come from all of the optional parts that are in the quest and make them rough. I mean make it so much that even a normal group cannot complete all of the objectives and use every trick in the Turbine grab bag to make it fun. Put in stat levers, puzzles, melee fights, anti magic rooms, rooms where the group is perma slowed or whatever and make it basically impossible for a group to complete all of them on one run, yet dont make it so hard that a group cannot complete any of the objectives they try.

Just some ideas, would love to hear others, and get feedback on mine.

Ok this is a great idea/suggestion. As you move through the dungeon, you can heal wounded NPCs, using your heal skill, not heal spells, for whatever reason, they are cursed with something from the plane of the dead.

Each has a different DC to be healed. The more you heal, the more help you get at the end against the boss.

    Well done.

Even better...they are WF and you need to use your repair skill. All the wizards and sorc out there have maxed repair, just like they expect the clerics to max heal right? No? huh..your bad... Wait the fighters must have, its class skill for them... no? huh...

Oh well, I'm sure the WF parties will do fine

You run in parties where people expect heal to be maxed? I run in parties where people don't expect party members to max out gimped skills.

Probably...personally I wouldn't build a cleric without heal or a wf wiz without repair, those skills are actually useful at a shine, and we know that repair is about to be very important with the changes Codog is planning...

You mean the ones that still like to tell you that you can ignore Spot on a Rogue... and then ask if anyone knows where they should search for the trap boxes?
