Race?

I have Drow Unlocked But im tired of Drow for Wizard or Sorc, So i was thinking, What about a Dwarf Sorc? I know they only get a 16 Cha, but stats arent everything right? if i take all the right AP spends' ill get like 1137 SP, Which isnt too bad? Well if you have any Thing that i shouldnt make a dwarf for just shout.

i have yet to level up a caster, but one of my friends recommended to go high charisma and con for hp. a dwarf with toughness is alot more hp, but i was thinking making a dwarf wizzy to avoid the char penalty.

dwarf sorcs are fine. just done use DC based spells and nuke. you can hit crazy high hp (for a sorc) and use DA decently.

Not sure how you calculated the sp, but a pure wiz (non drow or elf) has more than that.

Yea 4 cha less then drow will really barely make a dent in total SP numbers. Definetely not noticable.

The difference in DC you'd notice but they are still a fine race.

My sorcs an elf, but thats cos i made her before drow was in.

I guess if you dont want to go drow but still get a bit of a bonus you can go human for the extra feat.

Otherwise just go dorf or halfing imo.

WF seems to be FOTM for everyone wanting to be different which is why id go with dwarf or halfing myself, but thats just my opinion ^_^

Even alot of dmg spells use rolls for saves (like disint, FB etc) your DC will effect how often they'll make the save since they have to roll against your DC. (i think thats how it works...)

Personally i find the idea of a dwarf/WF sorc impractical, as you just will never be as good. But if thats not an issue for you go for your life.

If you have a +2/3 cha tome you can feed your toon even better.
