    1. Social / Semi-Hardcore - That may seem odd to some, but that's how i would summarise it. We play mostly in guild, in a hardcore-ish type way but we have a lot of fun goobering around as well.

    2. The Combat System - Combat makes up the biggest part of this game, and it must be good if we are all still here. I greatly enjoy the community and the people i have met, but that's not a product of the DDO team.. hence my selection.

    3. i) Higher Quality Content. A lot of people ask for 'more content' which i agree is important, but one of the problems that causes people asking for this is the fact we get a decent proportion of content that isn't particularly high quality, leading it to be basically avoided. The Abbot is the biggest case example of this, but there are many examples of this throughout DDO, some quests in the gianthold are never played, same with the desert or even throughout the litany of the dead series. These lower quality releases shorten out how much content actually gets played which makes the game seem smaller than it is.

ii) Communication. I understand this is a tricky issue, because everything the developers say is so heavily (unfairly?) scrutinised by the player base.. which seems to have put developers in their shells in terms of communicating things because they don't want to be pinned down word for word to what was said. Here's how i can explain this, Mod 6 is aimed to be released in January.. and here we are. A little more than 3 months has passed and there isn't even a splash screen, sure Risia was updated (which was good! i thought that was a great sign) but no indication was or has been given about updating it. Occasional progress updates or something need to happen. Codog came in a few weeks ago and had his big thread giving progress updates on his work and people loved him for it, as did people love Eladrin for addressing permanent weapon damage with the new death penelty. It would just be reassuring for someone to come in and say every now and then 'January still looks good'. It's just so hard to know how you guys are going, and how you guys are going is important to us! You make the game we love!

iii) Never having 0 raid loot drops in a full raid party. This is so painful. A full 12 man raid getting 0 raid loot is just about the most disappointing part of the game. I'd just like to see some way that if everyone loots the chest and no one gets a raid loot, the chest should recognise this and generate a loot randomly to someone, i'm not sure how it would work exactly, but i would only have it for a full 12 player raid. Sure it only happens like 5 - 10% of the time (rough estimate - i'm not sure of the exact numbers) but it really sucks to go through a raid and get nothing with 11 other people.

    Question 1
If you could describe your favorite play style in one word, what would that word be?

Intense - It doesn't last long, but the first few times you run a tough quest with a solid crew and no idea what is around the corner. Sure, later it'll be all about zerging, but until you know it, this sense of adventure, unknown, excitement, comaraderie... this to me is the most fun. A close second place would be Funny.

    Question 2
What is your favorite thing about DDO?

The style of quests. In my opinion, DDO is by far the most brilliant and creative of any quest-based game I have played. The quests are varied in style and looks. The story lines are original and can range from slightly punny and fun to serious and dark. My only complaint is that there just aren't enough of them.

    Question 3
If our CEO gave you a ring of three wishes, what would you wish for?

Wish 1 - More Quests. Like... a lot more. I am sorry devs, I really am, but there just isn't enough. Everyone loves the combat and the quests, it's just that we need more of them. Enough original content to keep the powergamers occupied between patches, while giving the casual player unlimited choices.

Wish 2 - Non-Quest content. Be it crafting, or guild hall decorating, or PvP tournaments with rewards. Something to do to mix it up, and to be social with friends without running quests you've already run more times than you'd like to admit.

Wish 3 - More character slots, or the ability to purchase extra slots as a one time fee as a premium service. All of my spots are capped, I don't want to start fresh favor on a new account, I have already deleted and rerolled all the characters I wanted little changes on, and I like all the ones I have now. Okay, very few people play as much as I do... but this is my wishlist!

    Question 1
If you could describe your favorite play style in one word, what would that word be?

"Efficient" - Fast, simple (possibly short or solo) methods for hardest quests - That is any playstyle (NO EXPLOITS) that makes the hardest elite content (including lower quests way above level) a cakewalk.

    Question 2
What is your favorite thing about DDO?

    DnD Setting (Mechanics close 2nd)

    Question 3
If our CEO gave you a ring of three wishes, what would you wish for?

More Content (Raids, Quests), More Content (Classes, Races), More Content (Houses, Crafting)

    Question 1
If you could describe your favorite play style in one word, what would that word be?

Success oriented. Although I am not critical of other's playstyle, I have become accustomed to succeeding when entering a dungeon and don't like failing... mainly because my wife limits my time online.

    Question 2
What is your favorite thing about DDO?

Playing a few other MMOs recently, I can say the battle sequences are much more sophisticated than others. In fact, I have not seen anything close yet.

    Question 3
If our CEO gave you a ring of three wishes, what would you wish for?

    1. If you build it, they will come. More content, like lots more, will definitely attract more users. However, since this title is already "off the radar", something like a new release of DDO II (which would include all the content of DDO I) would gather some hype. Include tons of new cotent, fixes and stuff that was missing from DDO I.
    2. Crafting
    3. More guild oriented content. Quests, rewards, guild activities to gain reputation for guilds. I like the kin ranking system that is currently in LOTRO, so maybe borrow some of that for DDO.

    1. Casualish
    2. The combat and d20 systems
    3. a) More content at all levels
    b) more Eberron specific races / classes (Eberron with Warforged but without Artificers );
    c) Options beyond level 20 - advancing characters is a major part of the game. As it is now I (and many people I know) park capped toons once they've run the high level stuff a number of times. There should be some way to keep advancing these toons.

    1. Casuductive(casual but productive)

    2. Toss up between character customization(very PnP like) and combat system, too tight to pick one.

3a. More character slots, have started deleting capped characters already.

    b. Keep the game more like D&D and less like all the other (crappy)MMOs out there. Not every end encounter has to be a DPS fest.

    c. Keep bringing feats in from PnP and improving the use for skills. While I begrudgingly like the enhancement system, it is still squewed tward pureclass characters(very un D&D like imo), the Feats and skills systems are universally fair to any type of build.

    1. Power - With a healthy dose of shenanigans.

    2. Combat System - Nothing else comes close. Also, I like that the developers listen to and engage the community.

3a. Guild housing/banking with some super convenient teleport options to and from the hall.
3b. Monks and Druids... Due yesterday . Just make the "shape change" stuff an overlay like Tensors.
3c. More Content. Lots more. Steal some of those LotRO developers, and put their lazy behinds to work.

    1. Addict and Alt Junky
    2. The diversity of quests, character customization, Combat system, the DnD backbone of the MMO
    3. Wish 1: More low level content. Running Waterworks for the 100th time is tedious and heaven forbid you get an actual new player in your group. I just want to get through the quest and that person would miss out on a lot, potentially.
Wish 2: Alternate Option Quests. Pick a lock, sneak through and let Arlos out of his cage. Have him sneak back with you, with minimal combat to complete the quest. OR go directly to boss, bribe, convince or intimidate him into allowing Arlos free. Something a little closer to your options in DnD. I always love it when those options are in quests or in NPC dialogues. A good, but minor example being Crucible.
Wish 3: More Eberron specific content and races. Fill in the rest of the core rule races and classes and get in Shifters, Kalashtar, Changelings and Artificers. WF specific prestige classes and feats too

    Question 1
If you could describe your favorite play style in one word, what would that word be?

    Causal

    Question 2
What is your favorite thing about DDO?
The quests. I love the quests. They have shown me how to make better paper dungeons. In so many ways. I love that there are visual clues, that most people might miss in the dungeons. When you are going down a hall, and there is a corpse in the middle. Why? It's not just random placed objects. Oh, cause there is a trap there and it killed someone!

Wait, is that slime on the ground? Prepare for oozes! Are those spider webs old or fresh looking? Hey, this blood on the ground goes into the wall, maybe there is a secret door here! The best part is you don't have someone reading you a discription which might tip you off, you have to actually look and pay attention. I hope more stuff like that gets put in.

I'm liking the quests that require more interaction with the enviroment more and more, and the challenge is being able to get through them, like the Pit, or Made to Order. Where moving through is part of the challenge of the dungeon.

    Question 3
If our CEO gave you a ring of three wishes, what would you wish for?

    1. More social functions to encourage players to interact more. Examples include tables in tavern that allow you and a few friends to click on, enter an intance, with a game interface and play dice or card games. The ability to create scripts that allow your character to complete a set of actions, so bards could perform, clerics preach, and so on. Anything to make the game fun while not questing. Those parts you don't do in paper, it is generally assumed it happens inbetween adventures. In paper, when the session starts, it's all about the adventure. Here you can have a small or large amount of time before the adventure starts, and need something to do, besides cleaning up your inventory.

    2. A whole module devoted to level 1-6 quests. I know that getting up to level 6 is easy. But that isn't the point, to make it easier. I would like more of those level quests, because for keeping older players, they want variety. Having just started 3 new low level characters, I was struck even more by how little options there are at those levels. If I could get a character up to level 6 without having to always do the same quests to do so, it would be more interesting to me. One good module devoted to those levels, might just cover it.

Yes, I would probably go back and do all those quests anyway for favor. However, it would most likely be after I could solo them all, and it is fun to be level 14 and go back and take a romp through the smurf village for fun. It gives me something to do if I have to wait for a group.

    3. The best guildhousing in any game to date. These should just knock our sox off, and shouldn't be just an instance that you stand around in, and another way to give more inventory space that is shared. I really want to be able to customize in the most possible ways. Maybe even to the extent of deciding the shape of it. Maybe some guilds want a huge hall, others a tower. Maybe areas only officers can get to. Items to put in the guildhouse, bought or earned.

We should be able to create a guild logo or such and have it displayed in the guild house, along with cloaks we could only see in the city, or some sort of badge that is visible. LoTRO has contests for players to design cloaks that get worn in game, I think we would like to see something along those lines.

If you give us more then we ask for, that would be amazing.

    1 Looter.
2 The design of the game, fps action with tons of mmo/rpg elements with all the cool licensed D&D monsters.
3 I'd wish for more staff to work/develop this neato game, a renewed market push highlighting game play, and like everyone else more content (see wish one).

    Question 3

Wish 1: Add more things to do besides getting XP. Maybe have quests which offer other rewards (possibly non-monetary but more flavor).
    Wish 2:
Make future content variable. It would be nice to still have some surprises running a quest if some things could be changed. (i.e. traps may or may not appear, some doors may or may not be locked/bashable, random monster mobs appear in various places, etc.)
    Wish 3:
    More character customization options.
    • More body types
    • More clothing options ( cloaks, armor skins, robes, etc.)
    • Ability to change things after creation (barber for hair styles, leather worker/seamstress for changing clothing, armorer for altering look/color of armor, etc.)
