    Yet another side of me:

    1) Artist. I want to contribute to the same in some small way.

    2) I love the community-made content based on the game

3a) Movie-making support. It can be tough to get a shot right. Can we get a 1st person mode, and when we hide the UI, can we PLEASE hide the health bars too?

3b) The ability to add a guild feed to the feed reader that opens when you open the game. Better yet, allow us to add custom feeds, and even have an in-game feed reader.

3c) The ability to create (externally) and import guild logos that we can use to customize armor, shields, and weapons. Even 32x32 pixels... that is all I want.

3d) (Bonus) How about some emotes where our characters open their mouths... Dialog is easier that way.

    And yet another...

    1) Husband. I can't fully devote all of my time to DDO. Sometimes life (or wife) calls.

    2) The ability to play in small time bits.

3a) More short quests. Sometimes you just need a quicky before withdrawing back to real life.

3b) An in-game clock / alarm. /time for the current time. /alarm set hh:mm to set an alarm.

3c) The ability to save an instance so if some people need to jet, then you can get back and finish it up later. save the instance for up to 2 weeks. Warn when entering a quest that it you are entering an existing instance, continue or reset.

3d) (Bonus) with the new in-game mail options we could now forward mail from email. give us a @ddo.com email address where we can register addresses to a white list. anyone on that list can send email to that address and it will appear in-game. Then we can contact friends in the game when we don't have the time to log in.

    And another:

    1) Coder

    2) the quality of the code of DDO is constantly improving. Even as our feature set increases, we are seeing less bugs over time.

3a) A Bug repository so we can not only report bugs, but we can see what exists and its status.

3b) More discussions with the players on concept features. The earlier you get input the better the result. 80% may NEVER see light. So it goes. The 20% that do will be all the better for it.

3c) A clean-up of long standing bugs. There aren't many, but some still remain. If it takes a reexamination of an existing system to fix it, that generally means that that system NEEDS to be reworked for other reasons.

3d) A job. Resume available upon request. I am willing to travel. Seriously (okay that partially was too...) an API to get in-game data like guild members online, chat/in-game mail integration so that we can make connections in our favorite chat program and web fun, contents of the guild-bank. Let us make tools for you.

    And another:

    1) Dominator

    2) I love the ability to have an army fight for me. Its the attack of the Cult of the Purple Pyramid!

3a) The ability to dismiss a Charm effect. I hate having to not use one of my favorite spells because we have to kill all the mobs and they are too stupid to make a save.

3b) The ability to give simple commands to minions. Stay, follow, attack, defend only, roam, rand attack, melee attack, magic attack go to my cursor location (oops, did I forget to mention that there is a trap down there... I'm SOOOoooo sorry... tee hee )

3c) Summons need a reworking. We need more types of creatures. Make it more like DND where you can choose a single big monster or a bunch of little ones. It is never a POWERFUL spell. Its all about the swarm. With the client upgrades that we have now, it can take a few extra mobs. lower that cool timer, please.

3d) (BONUS) heath bars for each controlled creature and friendly NPC. Have them in a scrollable list if it is over 6.

    and another:

    1) McGuiver

    2) I like that you can use strange tactics and abilities to solve problems in DDO. I like finding new ways to get though a quest easier.

3a) Remove class restrictions on enhancements. In DND its all ability based. Just because it isn't the standard class archetype doesn't mean that we can't do some neat stuff with it. Base the restrictions on abilities instead of class level.

3b) Allow us to do more while in stealth mode so that we can use sneaking more effectively. (Oh, and watch those videos, and fix the bugs pointed out in it)

3c) There should be no exclusive skills in 3.5, they are just cross-class. more options = good.

3d) (bonus) Traps are fun, especially when our enemies are falling in them. Allow us to set traps both magic and mundane varieties a little better.

    Question 1
If you could describe your favorite play style in one word, what would that word be?

Flexibility; Turbine just increased the number of character to 9 from 6, 7 if you had at least 1750 favor on one toon.

    Question 2
What is your favorite thing about DDO?

The variety you can do with character development.

    Question 3
If our CEO gave you a ring of three wishes, what would you wish for?

    a. Crafting that allows you to change appearance of clothing, armor, weapons, etc...; also available from NPC craftsmen for those players who want a more customized look without investing time or skill points into crafting.

    b. More races, classes, feats and skills for even more variety of character building.

    c. Revamp quest and XP awards by allowing players to solo or duo lower level quest but get reduction in XP penalties due to level differences, doing lower level quest for favor and vendor trash, as it is frequently referred to in game, didn't excite me enough to try and get to 1750 favor after completing all the 1st and 2nd level quest on two of my primary characters.

    d. (one more) three months of free game time to hold me over until I square away my personal finances and figure out what I plan to do with the rest of my life.

    e. (yet, one more) take the funds away from "spammers", have Turbine sell everything that "they" can sell. I think that the majority of the players would not use it, even if Turbine sets really low prices for buying plat and other items, although Turbine might get a lot of business for allowing subscribers to "reroll"* characters and allow them to keep equipment or have a new character "power-levelled"#. Plat and items personally don't appeal to me, but after investing 160 hours into building a single character and deciding a couple minor changes in skill points or a second class does. I do not know what power levelling goes for, but I, if I had the finances now, would be glad to spend an extra $40 U.S. to do a "reroll"* of an existing character. (My rogue/wizard [1st ever character on DDO] and my cleric/sorcerer [1 level of sorcerer wasn't as great of a benefit as I was led to believe])

    *My idea of a "rerolled" character;

Name, primary class, possessions, favor or record of quest completions doesn't change, the character is allowed to redo all "levelling" activities, includes reassigning all skill points, all feats, all stat increases and all enhancements.

    #My idea of a "power-levelled";

Player makes a new character then pays premium fees to acquire enough XP to advance to next level and after seeing how much some people charge on a bidding server (name withheld) for other MMO game accounts I would think Turbine could charge $10 U.S. per level, cummulative (need a spell checker, dictionary is in storage); example, player pays $20 to get to 2nd level, then $30 to get to 3rd and so forth, to go from 1st to 14th level would cost the player $1040 U.S.

A character's bio, which can be examined by anyone, will state if a character is "rerolled" or "power-levelled"; and guilds and PuGs are allowed to not allow "rerolled" or "power-levelled" characters to join them as long as they are not rude about it; example, "This PuG will not run with rerolled or power-levelled characters due to playing principles"; maybe devs could have check boxes during party creation to automatically reject requests by "rerolled", "power-levelled" or both types of tweaked characters.

    and another:

    1) Costar

    2) I like how DDO has worked to make the Cleric class more than just heal bots that they started out as. Mine is a lot of fun to play.

3a) Remove rest shrines. replace it with the Survival skill, and have a chance of spawning mobs. I described it in Codog's post, I think.

3b) Add taverns to Word of Recall. One location is just silly.

3c) Reduce monster hit dice so that it is in line with the Monster's Manual. Do not completely over inflate them on higher difficuly settings. +2 and +4 is fine. I want Turn Undead to be worth something.

3d) (BONUS) Domains... I know... there is a lot behind the scenes for it, but it is the Domains that TRUELY defines the cleric. For that matter specialist wizards.

    2) I love finding little hidden features of the landscape. I about giggled with delight when I found the bowling alley. BTW, what is the story behind that one?

3a) Fix the maps. I get lost. Can we get them on sub maps as well? 3D?

3b) I don't care if I get XP for it or not, I want to be able to complete the Explorer, Slayer, and Rare in the lower areas.

3c) give us the ability to annotate maps so that we can make notes. Even better, EXPORT them too. Needs to be saved between sessions.

3d) (BONUS) How about some reward for completing EVERY quest?

    2) I love the community. My guild REALLY has added to my enjoyment of the game for me.

3a) /follow. If my hands are full, or I want to type something to guild chat while running, it would make it a LOT easier.

3b) With the guild banks, we need access levels with a finer grain than member/officer/leader. custom names would be fun. custom access levels would be even better.

3c) add a second voice chat for guild interaction.

3d) (BONUS) Allow us to make notes on the guild roster so that we can track things easier in game.

    2) I love that despite my ever changing play-style, there is always something to be satisfied with.

3a) listen to some of these posts and get to workin'.

3b) Do more to recognize people that have contributed to the game in some way like you did with Kargon and his beloved Tasty Ham. And for that matter... YOU! (Congrats again) Mystic Theurge on the forums and Jerry from DDOcast (and the whole team). These people really add a LOT to the game. show the love, it just encourages more to do the same.

3c) real world events are GREAT. get us together, and make it visible. its fun for us, and great PR for you.

3d) (BONUS) Don't hate me for writing so many posts. I love DDO, and like to think that I am able to contribute in some small way to give back to the community that has given me so much enjoyment.

    Question 1
If you could describe your favorite play style in one word, what would that word be?
FUN - Its all about having fun...

    Question 2
What is your favorite thing about DDO?
Fighting machanics, spells, that DDO is simuliar to PnP, the community, character creation, and the fact that you need a team to play...

    Question 3
If our CEO gave you a ring of three wishes, what would you wish for?

    1) I have been playing this wonderful game since the beginning, but its getting boring without new content. I know its been said before, but i have 6 maxed toons doing the same things over & over. Please focus on more content across the board (70% high level quest & 30% lower quests). Leap frog if possible by having new content come out before one can finish exploring content from the prior releases. (wishful thinking? i hope not) **Maybe let the community help...Im sure there are plenty of nerdy programmers out there that can help build content...

1a) New quest ideas would be to try and implement old D&D modules into DDO, ie: Temple of Elemental Evil and the like.
1b) New quest idea would be to try and implement Ravonloft into DDO since its planar, ie: an adventuring party encounters some mist and finds them facing Lord Soth or Mr Von Zarovich himself... oooo fun fun (however, i would probably be divorced if this happens since my wife would never see me)
    ...

    2) I would love to play Monks, Druids, prestige classes, Gnomes (yes Gnomes), and see if Psionics can be implimented...soon so they can use my new guild's banking system while resting is the guild housing...(Yeah, i know im cheating but im 42 and want more more more out of DDO before i have to grow up and be responsible).

    3) Mod 6 will be raising the level cap to 16th, let Mod 7 rasie the level cap to 20th. The reason why i make this suggestion is that at 18th level the casters will be able to cast 9th spells which is the highest level of spells...levels 19th and 20th the Dev's dont have to worry about implementing higher level of spells, just loot, content etc... So, leap frog to 20th level on the next level cap raise.

I can go on of course like we all can, but i just want everyone at Turbine to know that you have something special here with endless possibilities for a community thats been around since the mid 70s. Most of the fundamentals are there, just keep building on them and keep up the good work...

    Default Thanks for soliciting feedback!

    Question 1:
Fun - would not have played in the first place and certainly would not be here almost 2 years later if it were not a blast

    Question 2:
Tied - diverse character development; cool combat system; awesome instanced quests

    Question 3:
    a) Additional classes and races to continue to increase the breadth of the game - Monks, Druids, 1/2 Orcs, 1/2 Elves in particular
    b) Throwback quests based on old AD & D modules - how cool would it be to run Against the Giants, The Slavers series or Temple of Elemental Evil (my wish makes them portable to Eberron!
    c) More customization for characters' appearance and equipment- expand on the collectible system as a vehicle to allow customization of appearance of clothing, items, etc; include functionality to customize items' abilities; show more clothing & allow naming of items

Honorary mention - random elements in quests (appearance of monsters, traps, treasure)

    The camera angles/engine/combat system

    Question 3
If our CEO gave you a ring of three wishes, what would you wish for?
    i) No caster nerfing (i've been relegated to buffbot once, and have no desire to go back there)
ii) More content fast (before a major competing game comes out in March)
iii) That the mod 6 outdoor raid area is similar to the fun experience of tempest spine and is somewhat random so we can spend huge amounts of time in it

While the idea of using multiple personalities to make more wishes is cute, the ring only had 3 charges. The ring geni tried to determine which 3 wishes were the most important out of the 43 made, but he rolled a 1. The ring puffs smoke and fizzles, and the geni grants you with an in-game clock, an emote to open your mouth, and the ability to make a character with longer arms in the creation screen.
