I am currently working on a Bard that is good with a bow. I am rather happy with how it is turning out but I am approaching the time when it begins to multi a bit more and I'd like some advice before I move forward.
I've been using Sigtrent's build with some personal preference considerations on some small things.
Here is the build http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php...13#post1312013
Now the big thing that I'm worried about is viability after level cap raises. If I take 4 levels of Fighter I like that future feat gains just getting more bard levels will work nicely to improve my bard buffs (extend feat) or my ranged combat ability (weapon spec).
However would it be more beneficial to just take 2 fighter levels and give up one of the combat feats and get more bard levels. That would put my final build with 2 more levels of bard which would put me at 16 bard levels at 20 instead of 14. Yah I'm asking for some speculation here but I'm kinda leaning toward just 14 levels of bard in the level 20 build considering we likely won't be seeing futher advancement of Enhancements and all i'd be giving up is some upper level bard spells and songs per rest.
So in simplest terms. Do yall predict any future reasons to stray strongly from the build presented by Sigtrent?
