    It has gotten worse since Mod 3.

    Having my wiz get smacked around by a giant that is 30 feet away, and even hasted being completely unable to stay away from attacks - even when those attacks swing very far away - is incredibly annoying.

    If the problem is monsters dont get latency and players do - the answer is simple. Give monsters latency. Make them play by the same physics/rules we do.

    You also can get hit by dead mob... and they can cast while held etc... because it's in thier queue.

    Both of these issues started back in 3 or 4 when they decided to change the AI tracking. And it has sucked since.

    Ranging them as they run away from you only works part of the time as ranging has its own set of issues.

    Nealgus is right. You can only hit the running mobs if you get in front of them and then you only hit them a few times since you are not facing them. (Also, it seems like a 20 will get you a hit also. Perhaps someone else can verify this.)

    Well, attacking them with ranged is also currently an issue in that if they run you don't get an attack roll with ranged attacks. They are fixing this is Mod 6, but it has been an issue for a LONG LONG time.
