A possibility for a new tab in Social panel ?

Would it be at all possible to get a new grouping tab with a heading like New to quests? I understand that you can put in that info now, but with new players they do not always understand that. Old players do not always read that.

Not only could this filter help with new players match with old players that want to help, it could make players like me more comfortable in catching up with quests that have been added this past year that I have been unable to play. A few grumpy pants make doing quests less then fun.

Just a thought from a shyish old women. Keep up the good work, even though I have been unable to play this game means enough to me that I have been paying this past year, for a tight fisted old dwarven lady that says a lot!

Generally you should be able to find people who are decent enough to help people who are new to the quests.
However, there are those rare cases that make you want to kick them in the head.
In any case, usually it's best if you ask about the quest when you join group so you can be more prepared for it.
I'm not to sure about putting a whole new section for new players, that'll split up the current outstanding LFMs even thinner, and eventually it'll lose all its purpose.

My suggestion is that you just let people know you are new if joining their LFM or put in your own LFMs "first time through". That should scare off the zergers and leave you with other new players and those who are willing to be helpful.

And can we please remove LFG from the Social Interface. Let's face the facts: it doesn't work. I see posts from new/returning players saying they "were sitting around LFG for hours, bored and logged off". LFG is not doing it's job, quite the opposite.

Remember how LFG used to work? Yeah.... it's not working now because that was changed.
We need the LFG and Available tab back(ungrouped/lfg only, LFG at the top).
