    Question 32 Point Build help?

I am looking for a dmg dealing maniac that can tank. I was thinking of a 32 point dwarf TWF ranger! Can anyone help me out with a guide showing me what to do with all my feats/skills/etc... How much to point in str,dex,con,etc... or should i be leaning towards another build?

Thank you in advance for coments and advice!

If by "Tank" you mean Intimitank, then Ranger isn't for you.

If by "Tank" you mean draw lots of aggro and be able to take it all, then a Dwarven Barb is your best shot.

if you want a dwarf twf, then by all means, build that. i would start with 17 str, 12-14 dex, 10-12 wis, and the rest in con. take toughness, and the pre-reqs for the tempest enhancements, and you'll be all set. my dorf started with 18 str, and i got him to lvl 14 and he has like 320 or so hp, which is plenty. he can still hit well ranged with a dex item and ranger dex enhancements, and dual wields dwarven or battle axes with a great to-hit.

oh, and you don't need intimidate with you have multi-shot and precise shot.

You'll want at least a 17 Dex (and a +2 Dex tome -- favor tome probably) to be able to get Superior TWF at L15 when the cap goes up. Or 16 Dex and get a +3 Dex tome from Reaver.

nah, it was stated that rangers will likely get that feat granted, and if not, no biggy. the tempest enhancements will be good enough for me. the whole point for building a twf ranger for me was to go max str, and not have to worry about the dex requirement.

Actually, it was stated that if they made a Tempest 2 Enhancement they might grant it then.

A "might" and "maybe" are no reason to skip another attack.

If it means Gimping the build, I'm all for scrapping Superior TWF. Going from a 14 to a 17 Dex is 7 Build points..... Thats a Huge Investment on a STR Based Ranger. Some Extra Will save or Hit points can easily make up for the lack of a 94th attack....
