Has there been an actual promised release event or date (like with mod 6.1 or on June 5th) or are we still talking mentioned in vague seasonal terms (like late spring of 2008?)

Just so you know.. They're no longer putting out like 6.1 mods, either.
It's on a 3 month (more than likely longer) cycle of development now. So... Saying Mod 7 or 8 is like saying: Summer 2008.

their quoted cycle is 10 weeks betwen mods, so that would put mod 6 out mid January although its more likely end of January if turbine sticks to past performance. That would put mod 7 sometime in April
