Aloha all, this is the first time I'm starting a new thread, and I'm usually quite shy, but I guess I'm trying to get something accomplished for my boyfriend.

I don't know if you all know Cmot, Sriracha, Burgle, Thirtypoint, but this is on his behalf. He may be an *** sometimes, but hey, he's my *** and I gotta look out for him.

If he hadn't been so generous with me and other people he's played with I wouldn't even imagine of posting this, but he has, and he's a generally upstanding guy (unless you get on his bad side, then watch out!).

I'm trying to get him something special for the holidays, and don't play enough to have the plat to afford it. I've been hitting up guildies, non-guildies, and even general chat (sacrificing my own dignity thank you). Truly, if you have played with one of his characters, and he didn't offend you too bad, please consider donating to the fund. He's on all the time, and used up all his plat getting holiday presents for others.

This is totally bizarre, but whatever, he's my guy so I'm willing to throw myself on the mercy of the forum to fulfill his DDO wish. Everything else is taken care of, no worries.

I'm broke, otherwise I'd help. Lews has a good point though...and if you're broke in real life, I find the old "make myself the present" (*wink wink*) makes just about any man pleased as punch.

As we all know Christmas is the time if giving and If I had the said tome in my bank I would just hand it over Last night in spirit of Christmas I gave a fellow many nice items as he has been away from the game for 10 months and felt seriously lacking in the UBERNESS What the heck, help the lady out if you can. I am sure that all of us men would like it if our ladies gave us a +2 Tome for Christmas OH ya and the self present with a red bow would be even better LOL

Thanks guys, my initial post was made in a pretty bad drunk haze, so thanks for not tearing me a new one.

So anyway, I think I got the perfect RL gift (hope it comes on time and in tact!), so that brings us to a DDO gift. This is kind of a quasi-tradition, I've gotten him in game stuff or things for his gaming a few times. It's like when someone has a hobby you want to support it right? Like if he were into fishing or hunting or basketball I'd get him stuff for those things; he's a gamer, so I get him game things.

He's a great guy, and if anyone has suggestions to increase the liklihood of his getting said tome (besides doing the reaver every chance he gets), I'm all ears!

Davey is a great guy but it would be a little too good for his rep to think that he gave the tome away. My sources inform me that a fair price was established and both parties were satisfied with the agreement.
