The boosts don't stack, only the enhancements that add to DR permanently(they stack with whichever they add to) and shield blocking(stacks with everything) do.

Yes, DR does stack with the DR boost. turn it on, go int battle, get hit and see for you self via the combat window. Unless I was bugged yesterday anyway (had 10 damage negated from a hit with a DR 9/- action boost and 1/- base DR).

Does damage reduction from Adamantine started feat on Warforged stack with either/both?

Just wondering as I've been working on a Warforged Barbarian (I don't have admantine, just wondering about that one) but I do have Improved DR and some DR enhancements.

WF and Barb DR do not stack with each other; only the highest applies. Feats and Enhancements for DR do stack with that specific type of DR. Barbarian Improved DR enhancement improves Barbarian DR and WF Improved DR enhancements and feats improve WF DR. But, only the highest of the two will apply.

Last time I checked (it was a rather long time ago), they didn't stack.

based on the wiki info then, if my 14th level cleric has shield mastery, inproved shield mastery, the 3 dwarven enhancements, a +5 steel shield of lesser fire res, and a bards ironskin chant, my dr would be 28 : 5(passive dr) + 5(bab/2) + 2 +2(shield) + 5(magical enhancement) + 3(feat) + 3(feat) + 3(character enhancements). is that right???

Versus melee attacks, that is correct. Cast Divine Power to raise your BAB to 14 and gain 2 DR for a nice even DR30/-.

Versus ranged attacks, you halve the active blocking DR (23/2 = 11) + passive DR5 = DR16/- (DR17/- with Divine Power).

You likely had stoneskin on which grants the DR10.

In general - all enhancements stack.. However in this case - the enhancement explicitly states that it does NOT stack and simply replaces your current base barbarian DR.

DR boost levels:
1: 6/-
2: 9/-
3: 12/-
4: 15/-

My barbarian would have like 25 DR vs piercing attacks if it stacked, it would be nice.. But doesn't happen.
