i could dig this. Something that you have to give permission to use, so pugs aren't eyeballing your stats before they decide if your good enough or not.

I'd like to request that the devs give us a mechanic with which we can look at each other's characters as though they were our own. This should be an option, obviously, but I'd really like to see it brought into the game. My reasoning is that I often find myself being asked for advice on builds by newer players. I'm more than happy to oblige, but it gets rather tedious having to ask them what every single thing they did in character creation consisted of. I think this mechanic would greatly assist veteran players in their assisting of newer players. Thank you for your time and consideration of this matter.

So a "Mechanic" that allows the viewing/inspecting of other players, etc?

no attention grabbing confirmation box though, maybe something in the chat window like when someone tries to join your LFM. It drives me nuts the amount of blind invites i get, i'd hate to have every numbskull in creation trying to check out my character without asking and have me run off into the lava because i was typing something in chat.

Yeah thats the one thing about WoW that drives me nuts. No privacy on your builds. Everyone gocking!

i wonder if i might get some dev input on this? as i think it would help the newer player base, which is very good for the diversity and longevity of the game, i think this would be a very worthwhile topic to discuss. or even just a pop in to say "we saw it"?
