    Default Qwijymart is Expanding!

Well folks, it's been about two months of Qwijymart now, and business is doing well. Thanks for all your support, and a big thanks to all my customers. However, as many of you have mentioned, sometimes when you need me most, I'm not on.

Well, we're starting to work on that.

I am pleased to announce that a new Qwijymart has opened! Owned and operated by Pickeled, you can expect the same friendly service, competitive prices, and guild discounts. Currently Pickeled is floating around: in the marketplace, gianthold, even covering my table in the Necropolis when I'm not around!

Welcome Pickeled, and best of luck with your new shop!

p.s. - I have inside info that says another Qwijymart is coming to you this holiday season... rumor has it the new store will be built in Gianthold

    Don't hate.

If that is how he wants to play, and make extra cash with a second account, thats fine!

He is dual-boxing, but in a creative, and helpful way.

You should look him up for prices on repair potions.

    His prices are Q-tastic! :P

Yep, I love it when people say I'm weird and that I should be playing the game instead of peddling potions.

Usually when they say this, I'm in the middle of a raid, trying to keep the party alive... while they're standing in the inn for hours on end, telling me I should be playing...

I haven't tried the Qwijymart shopping experience yet, but I probabley should. I'm almost flat broke, and need to find a cheeper way to buy my consumables. Is there a place where I can clip coupons?

he runs specials to try and get rid of excess stock, but generally, his prices are a mix of between profitable for him, vs. what your haggle can get you.

I used Qwijymart, and got a bunch of CSW pots for cheaper than I could ever get with m own haggle skill maxxed on my ftr.

No coupons, but in addition to guild/regular customer discounts, I also automatically apply quantity discounts. Let me give you an example:

100 cure potions (some numbers are guesstimates):
    8,300pp for a no-haggle toon (from a vendor)
    7,500pp list price at Qwijymart
    7,300pp discount price at Qwijymart
14,500pp 2 stacks of cure pots, extra 100pp discount on top of the discount price.

So if you buy 2 stacks of cure potions from Qwijymart on your low-to-no-haggle toon, you can save 2,100pp.

The savings increase as the item cost increases. Heal scrolls are something like 17,500pp on a low-to-no-haggle toon, I list for 15,500pp and discount for 15,000pp. That's a savings of 2,500pp per stack of heal scrolls. I'm not entirely sure, but I think my discount heal scroll price is equivalent to a 60 haggle. Potion prices are probably closer to a 40 or 45 haggle.

Unless you have your very own hagglebot, you can save a ton of money at Qwijymart. And don't forget! Free shipping all December!

But do you deliver? Was doing Madstone Crater last night with 4 10's, a 9, and a 7 (Guildie!) with my Cleric and ran low on supplies (big surprise there!) and had to recall for more heal scrolls and wands - sure would have been nice to dial up the Qwijymart for a resupply delivery!

Qwijymart offers both of these services... and more! I reserve the right to charge a little extra for in-person-at-quest delivery, but if your order is big enough (say, 30kpp or more?) I likely would not.

So you're probably wondering what "and more" entails. Well, that's a pretty open thing. Qwijy is available for pretty much anything you can think of... my price is related to the amount of time I'd have to shut the store down. Let me give you guys a real example that actually happened:

I was with a group on my main account, about to run the titan. The only sorc was already at the Twilight Forge, so we requested that Qwijy come teleport us there. This of course resulted in a few trips back and forth (someone ALWAYS forgets to repair that stupid sigil). After everyone was teleported, Qwijy went into the quest and stocked everyone up with whatever wands, scrolls, and potions they needed. The group purchased enough supplies that I didn't charge for the downtime at the shop or the multiple teleports.

Qwijy can also be "rented" for group/guild events, in a variety of ways. About to run the Abbott with your guild? Set up an agreement with Qwijy where he will supply your guild with everything you guys need during the attempt, then settle the bill later. Waste less time restocking, spend more time pwning. Are you doing something that requires that one person stand in an instance (you naughty individual you )? Why not have Qwijy move his shop to your instance? Then you can do whatever it is you are up to, and shop for supplies in the middle of the quest!

As always, Qwijymart guards your personal privacy like a momma bear protects her cub.

Can I be a vendor? Just for *****, I checked your prices on Cure Serious Wounds wands, and then checked to see how much I would save, cause I was positive you would kill my haggle..I mean..I'm a sorcerer. Turns out, i saved a few hundred platinum from teh vendor over you.

I want to help do good in the world too, and if my haggle is about like yours. I can do something.

Consider how haggle works... it is not a flat discount, it is a percentage based on the base value of the item.

Contrast this with how I price things: I take my price and tack on a service charge. This service charge is part static (a minimum and maximum charge, regardless of item cost) and part dynamic (the more expensive the item, the lower the service charge percentage). It's like the opposite of the US progressive income tax.

Another way to explain it: it's not worth my inventory space to sell wands if I only make 2 plat per wand. So the service charge is proportionally higher for wands than it is for more expensive items. I consider my wands sorta like a gas station considers gas... both make very little money, but they draw the customers into the shop so they'll buy the candy bar.

For Qwijymart, this means I won't save you much/anything on my cheapest items (wands happen to be THE cheapest...). Compare your price of heal/rez/grtr restore scrolls to mine - you'll see the savings. I'll save you some time: CSW wands are 1,117pp with a 31 haggle (this is an exact figure, not a guess), so you must be hitting around a 45. A 45 haggle will get you heal scrolls at around 16,000pp a stack. My list price is 15,500pp, and I don't think there's one cleric on the server who has ever paid me more than 15,000pp per stack.

That's pretty sick pricing if you ask me. If you have a 45 haggle, you can still save 1000 plat per stack of heals at Qwijymart.

As far as running your own Qwijymart, send me a PM if you're really interested and we'll talk.

I know the people at MAC are very happy with his prices, and don't forget all the community service he does. Like sponsoring player run events, cutting prices for the broke clerics, and generaly being a decent person.

    Hi All,

I'm the owner of the Pickeled store.

Currently I'm establishing the Gianthold QwijyMart until the new proper store is ready to be built.

I have the same stock as Qwijy but Pickeled is only lvl 4 so won't be able to offer the same in quest delivery service Qwijy is offering.

Drop in and say G'day any time you feel like it.

    Yabba.

hehe yeah your timezone sucks... however, I think you are on a similar schedule as Pickeled, so that may work out well.
