palli or sorc

i made a palli with no wisdom (first palli ever) and when he was lvl 5 i multi classed him a a sorc what should i do keep going as a sorc and make hima battle caster or only go 2 or 3 levels

That might be doable what's your charisma?

Just how bad is it Doc?

Does he have a 6 Wisdom or did you start him with 10? If you can find an item to get him to 12 wisdom then you can cast first level Pally spells. Use items to get his wisdom to 13, 14 or higher and you're able to cast higher level pally spells. There are plenty of items to boost spell points so he's not gimped as a Pally by having a low wisdom. If he's got a nice, high strength he should still be an excellent pally. Changing over to caster at this point would probably not be as much fun to play (IMO) because you really need a good combination of some hard-to-get gear and some careful attention to feats and stats to play a battle-caster. It can be quite frustrating otherwise.

If all else fails...you wouldn't be the first to re-roll a Pally because of this little problem

he has an 8 wisdom but an 18 charisma and he can use owls wisdom wands but i dont want to keep buying wands.
he is a halfling and has a 16 strength and a 12 con so he can fight but is slow with greatswords and greatclubs.
he has a few good greataxes and mauls so he can hold his own and he can use healing wands

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but probably the best thing to do would be to reroll, either a Paladin with a higher wisdom or a pure Sorcerer. That's not to say you can't play with what you've got, but you will probably be happier with what you will be able to do and not have this nagging "am I gimp" in the back of your head. (At least that's the way it works for me, your results may vary)

I'm assuming your are relatively new to the game... maybe use this toon to get the 400 favor then build a drow and reroll from there?

There was a thread about my jedi build which was a 3pal/9sorc (now 11 sorc) but I can't seem to find it on the forums anymore. I will check and see if I have it saved anywhere...there was a number of good ideas for you in that thread.

If your wisdom is 8 can you use an item to cast spells? +4 WIS item. I did not know that. I thought it had to be natural 12 or with tome...

wow 8 wisdom on a pally... you cant even cast lv3 spells without +6 item thats a bit over do min maxing unless u've already got some uber gears already 18 cha hmm whats your str?
