    Default Question on Deepwood Sniper

    I apologize in advance if this has been answered...

    Does the snipper shot require activation every 10 seconds, like a click the button type thing or will it activate itself every 10 seconds and be toggled on or off? I can't see having to click a button every 10 seconds and would suggest making it more a stance than an feat you need to activate to use (every 10 seconds).

    It was described as a Cleave style clicky, which means button mashing every 10 seconds.

    Which is what I feared. Ah well, better get used to hitting a button every ten seconds for every single fight we get into... Carpal tunnel nightmare.

    you are not the only one that dislikes this style change. But I'd rather see it this way rather than have it like many shot is.

    At least with the relative slowness of Ranged combat, you should be able to perfectly time the Sniper Shot with your attacks. Cleave on the other hand is it's own separate attack that breaks and resets the attack chain, making it difficult to use if you are striving for DPS.

    I think with the overwhelming voices against the Manyshot implementation we'd see more people who like a short timer clicky (myself included). But, a stance where the sniper shot went off every 8 shots would have been better (though, you'd lose some control).

    would they have rather made it a lvl 9 for deep wood I, have the feat requisets and have it just be a +1 to crit threat and range constant myself.

    would this be over powered to barb crit range enhancement? Not really. No feat requirements.

    The difference with cleave and sniper shot is that sometimes you don't want cleave since it hits in a arc and can draw aggro that you don't want, hit facinated / hypno'd enemies ect... with sniper shot, you pretty much want to use it as much as possible. If it were a 1 snipped shot / 10 arrows (or whatever equals 1 in 10 secs) and you could toggle it on or off for whatever reason you would want it off... but you still could snipe by sneaking around, waiting for the cooldown to reset and then shooting. I know the developers have come to dislike the concept of "kiting" and having a stance would work in with the kiters, but I really really don't want to have to worry about hitting a button every 10 seconds!!

    I will agree that button clicking for a possibly more potent arrow shot will be an annoyance. I wonder if it would be too much trouble to change it to a cooldown timer stance, where once the cooldown timer expires your next bow shot is taken as a sniper shot.

    What about we have both? A stance we can activate and a button we can click. When the stance is activated, a sniper arrow is sent as soon as the button cooldown is over, and the cooldown starts again.
