I just have two questions.
Question 1:
Has anyone played Dark Age of Camelot (DAoC) before?
*If you have you'll understand what I'm talking about.*
Question 2:
How would the player base fell if the Developers designed Server vs. Server PVP adventure area type battlegrounds?
The Battlegrounds could consist of each server having their own castle (safe zone) with general venders, potion shops,
siege weapon venders (how else would you take a castle wall down?), and a castle in the middle of the map that the
servers would have to fight over while fighting people from different servers.
lvl 1-5 battleground about the size of Cerulean Hills
lvl 6-10 battleground about the size of Searing Heights
lvl 11-15 battleground about the size the the Orchard of Macbre
lvl 16-20 battleground about the size of the Desert
Also, each battleground a server conquers and holds would get a bonus.
Example:
lvl 1-5 battleground - Speed Bouns = 10%
lvl 6-10 battleground - Hit Point Bonus = 10%
lvl 11-15 battleground - Spell Point Bonus = 10%
lvl 16-20 battleground - Experience Bonus = 10%
If one server manages to conquer and hold all four battlegrounds then the bonus jumps to 40%.
Another question that might come up is about the name conflict.
That has already been taken care of with the server merge where everyone that enters the battleground
would have their server listed after their name.
Example: (Krunck - Ghallanda, Abraxius - Khyber, etc).
Well here you go. What do you think?
