I was sitting here and reading the threads and one thing which popped into my head was having some community spirit. One thing that could bind us all together. For one moment everyone on the fourms could agree about one thing. Searching through my brain I thought of a lot of amazing things that could achieve this (and by many I mean I came up with zero ideas) so then I decided it would be easier to come up with a brillent amaazing idea that everyone would oppose.

First let me tell you a story:

It all began when DDO went into beta. I loved playing D&D and just knew I would get this game. I signed up for BETA however I was not chosen. BUT I was not daunted I ordered the pre order and knew I would have my head start which gave me 5 (or was it 10) days of beta before headstart. Due to the evil nature of the real world the game store didn't give me my game until the day before beta ended. But I got my one day in and all was well in the world. I was excited about head start. A few days later I realized they didn't give me my special pre-order box either, none the less I went to the store and demanded (pleaded) they give me the right box. I was triumphent and got my box so I could get my special level 1 items. Signed up for a head start guild (The villans or something or other I just wanted my hat (even though I'm no a stricyly /helm off guy and refused to wear the ugly thing) and played. All was well in the world... until a month later. I finally decided to get my special Founder icon for the fourms.

So I signed up and nothing was there. Months went by and I sent the Devs a PM asking about it (see I have a habit of not acting quickly). I was sadly told that the fourm account and the game reigsteriation wasn't linked and I'll never get my founder icon (I want the book one, yeah the dragon is cool, but I play an arcane) this has made me sad (well not sad but it still will be cool to finally get it.). This was my one shot to be one of the first people on a game and be able to tell everyone for all time I loved this game from the start and see I have an icon to prove it!

Now how does this tie into unity (and how many people read this far? More importantly why? I had a warning)? Very easy in one voice the community can all agree it would be a waste of time and energy to get me my little founder icon. I don't expect anyone to say I should have it (and you the one who is about to post and say I should.. yes you. I know your doing it just because I said you wouldn't.) so now we all agree on one thing. The founder icon shouldn't be added for me. Don't you all feel a little closer agreeing about something now?

On the bright side at least I am not asking the Devs to wish me a happy birthday (Remember June 16th Devs just one post from one of you. I'll even make you homemade store brought cookies.)

I finally decided to get my special Founder icon for the forums.

So I signed up and nothing was there.

You and me both...If you didn't hop on the forums immediately, you were outta luck.
