Can some one point me to a thread that descibes the highest ac items?
Right now I have a 51 ac with a haste potion and bark potion, I havea 22 dex(i think) and I am dwarven with +5 mith fp.

Read the dwarven defender thread, or pretty much any "tank" build thread and they will list many of the best defensive options.
22 dex is +6, mith FP is 3 dex so you need 3 Armor Mastery to max out there. You can't really do better than Mithral FP with a dwarf for AC.

or to be more AP efficient FAM II and DAM I or the other way around...that saves ya 4 AP.
Thanks all, I guess what else i need to know, is what items can give me a higher dex. i have the chaos guardes, but not sure what others are readily available. Also, is it worth taking 3 levels of pali for the extra one ac and self healing/desease immunity? I like to do damage and i like to save the casters from certain death. i do not have a single play style, i like to mix it up.

tough question regarding the 3 pally levels. One place to start is what is your charisma. If you have a high charisma the 3 pally levels starts making alot more sense (2nd level pally adds to your saves, etc.). If you don't have the ability to get a high charisma and you want that kind of character ( a couple of lay on hands, nice saves and a very high ac) you probably should make another character with the 11 fighter/ 3 pally dwarf build that has a nice charisma (this build is one of the best defensive juggernaughts out there). I think that there will be some nice fighter feats in the future which will more readily benefit pure fighters examples are superior weapon focus and superior weapon specialization since the next mod/level cap is a month or so away you could evaluate where you want to go then...
Norg Fighter12/Paladin6/Monk2, Jacquiej Cleric18/Monk1/Wiz1, Rabiez Bard16/Ranger3/Cleric1, Hangover Bard L20, Boomsticks Fighter12/Monk 6/Druid 2, Grumblegut Ranger8/Paladin6/Monk6, Rabidly Rogue L20, Furiously Rogue10/Monk6/Paladin4, Snowcones Cleric 12/Ranger 6/Monk 2, Norge Barbarian 12/FVS4/Rogue4. Guild:Prophets of The New Republic Khyber.
3 levels of paly gives you the immunities and with some AP expenditure also adds +2 to AC and +2 to all saves... as well as divine grace at paly 2 which adds your cha modifier to all saves (beyond the +2 from the aura). 2 smites as well. and 2 LoH's...
If you have some cha, adding in those 3 paly levels really kicks up the survivability factor.
The enhancements I'm referring to are:
AP_Ability
2 Paladin Extra Lay On Hands I
1 Paladin Extra Smite Evil I
2 Paladin Resistance of Good I
2 Paladin Bulwark of Good I
You can also spend 2 AP's on Paly Cha I.
Even if you just have a 10 Cha... throw on a +1 tome, Paly Cha I enh, and +6 item, and you'd get +4 to all saves, and maybe 2 60-70 pt LoH's.
A fighter 13/paly 3 would still be able to get Greater Weapon Specialization, but would miss out on 2 fighter feats and the L14-16 fighter enhancements... You also have to be LG... so anarchic becomes a pain.

I think your 2nd question is for what will give you higher ac not dex?
If it is I think I pretty much maxed out ac on a straight fighter build with a dex of 22 +6 with fighter armor mastery.
My standing ac on a lvl 14 human fighter is 48 unbuffed. (possible to get to 49 will explain).
I wear +5 Mith FP and have armor mastery.
Shield is Sorrel +5 Hvy Stl shield with +4 Prot (defl) and +4 Resist (u can find items with +5 prot (cloak) thats how I would get my ac to 49).
2 Rings I wear Chattering Ring from Titan +3 (dod) to ac and Seal of Earth from Queen +3 (nat) to ac.
Bracers I wear are Ethereal Bracers +1 (ins) to ac.
I also took the dodge feat.
This doesn't apply to dwarves because they get other enhancements, so theirs would be higher.
Hope that helps. Good Luck.
Thanks all, I can only get my Cha up to 14, with a +6 cha item or +5 and cha tome. So would 14 Cha be high enough? As I said before, I am not looking to hit 60+ AC, I liek to do it all though. So a +51 AC self buffed would be pretty nice. Aslo is it just light armor that goes with evasion?

It sounds like you want to build another character the more I read your thread. Try the pally/fighter combo if so, but making something into something less ideally suited for the build has consquences like everything else. The cap increase to 14 was not very kind to fighters as there were no nice feats and not very good enhancements to go along with it, but that does not mean that the level 16 cap increase will not see some great feats and good enhancements. I believe that going pure fighter will have merit which will probably be most clearly seen through the weapon specialize and weapon focus feat chains. My guess is level 16 will have superior weapon focus and level 18 will have superior weapon specialization..
Yes evasion requires light armor..
