Feat Respec problem

Hi there, I am wondering if I can get some help with this...

My Wizard (14) has the feat *Spell Focus (Illusion)* which I cannot exchange for another feat. It shows up on my character sheet...
but not in Freds feat respec window,

This feat is not a prerequisite for any of my others. I have called in game help awhile back but the GM was unable to understand my problem, and told me to submitt a bug report (which I did). I would appreciate any help as this has been a problem with my char for a very long time.

Kirris, I'm sorry I missed your initial post and am glad you brought it back to page 1. The only prereq of Spell Focus: Illusion is supposed as the prereq for Greater Spell Focus: Illusion. But, I don't see Greater Focus on Fred's list either. I know players have had difficulty trying to drag and drop "Spell Focus" when they should be dragging "Illusion." But, yours isn't there at all. All I can say is that it does not appear to be a prereq issue and you are definitely missing one of your 5 levelup feats (Spell Penetration and Mental Toughness don't show because they are prereqs for Greater and Improved).

I am having the same problem, but I think I know why its happening. I took greater spell focus illusion when i was leveling my character up ( did not take the normal spell focus Illusion). Then one day the devs patched "this problem" and ever since my greater changed to normal SF: illusion and since then i can not respec it out of my feats. It does not even show up in Freds list. I even tried taking Greater SF: Illusion and then respecing it out in hopes that would allow the normal SF: Illusion to show. Is there anyway that this could be fixed ? Could I just call a GM and ask them to respec for me? I just do not want SF: illusion anymore i do not use any Illusion spells and i would hate have a wasted feat.

yes I think that is how it happened to me also, took Gr spell focus Illusion, then they fixed it, which broke me lol

I paged a GM in game again since posting this, and asked to be forwarded to a senior GM, the Senior GM wrote a message on my ticket saying he is passing it onto QA to try to find a solution, and I haven't heard anything else about it, that was a few weeks back now. Was kinda hopeing Sparker would check in on this problem, perhaps now there is 2 of us we might get some more attention. /crosses fingers.

ok its been over 6 months since I first posted and still no luck The senior GM ticket stayed open for awhile but I'm not sure how long because I gave up checking it, its now closed and hasn't been updated at all. I would love to hear from a GM or someone about this.

I too am having a issue with the illusion feat exchange , talked to a representative and sent him this web page..ended up telling me i should read the compendium , seemed unwilling to want to listen to my plea for help on this matter. Very frustrating
