Friends List

Could you consider making the friends list longer? I have reached my maximum amount of friends and its too hard to decide which friends I get to keep anymore! Maybe tripple the size?

I have gathered most of my friends from all 7 of my chars and looked at the file and it has 120 friends. When i go to import i lose track of how many it cuts off, but i'm guess 100 is the cutoff. I like to add my friends alts on my list too, just incase they don't log on their mains first off.

I too would like this to increase. Maybe 500? That should definately be enough for anyone

If it's 100 it's definitely too short.
By the way what about removing the duplicate error messages when importing friends lists? It's useless spam on the chat & screen...

Actually I have zero on some of my chars...I can't be bothered. I recognize the names of people I like, and there are few I won't run with. Mostly its annoying because I cant be bothered to do the export import thing across all my chars to keep things current. We need an account based friends list so that what I add to one gets added to all my chars, and possibley even picks up that person's other chars to boot.

Global friends would go a LOOOOOONG way. Instead of my 5 real life friends who play and their 9 alts(45 for the math challenged) I would have 5 slots and I wouldn't have to ask them what their new character's names are.

I ran into a friend right after we received the new slots. I was running through the Market on my new lvl 3 and I saw a dwarf with the surname he usually uses for his dwarf characters. I check it out and it looked like the start of a build he had mentioned so I tossed him a "Hey <name>." He hesitated, asking who I was, and then we added each other again to our friends list so we would know when we were both on.

As a guildleader, I find the friends list far too small. I do not even have enough room to add all the alts in my guild, much less, all the other guildleaders I contact with and, oh yeah, my actual in-game friends.

well, as far as adding all your guildmates and their alts is concerned, you do know you can sort your guild list by online status, thus bringing everyone who's online at the time to the top of the list? that should whittle down your list a bit. But yeah, i have a tough time keeping all of our allied guilds members listed, so i pretty much don't try anymore,

I would be for global (across all toons) friend lists, add one person and it adds alts, more slots on the list and also room to add longer notes to the friends.

I use Xfire. And my ingame friends lists are much shorter now. If I could only make all of you use it.

I have global friends on xfire... I may not know the character you are on or what server but I know you are in game because Xfire tells me.

And please make the friends list longer because we all like to talk too much
