It's gotten old, and is getting increasingly old as the days of frustration go by.

I agree with original post..... STOP THE LOOT RUNS ON RAID LOOT CHEST!!!!!!! Make the Timers work regardless what color (red/blue) your party is.........Sorry for yelling.

I am certain Emden has misunderstood the first post - he's asking that the raid timer start and quest completion because he's sick of forgetting to get the end reward and missing out...

It appears you are speaking of some kind of exploit, fyi that is not allowed on the forums (if it is an exploit you are referring to I expect this thread will be closed/deleted very soon)

Thats really too bad because I would like to /sign the OP's idea (although I've gotten pretty good at remembering to get my end reward, nobody is perfect and sometime I still forget). But, alas, there is no point since the OP's discussion will have to be re-opened in a new thread when this one is gone.

-sigh- Just get your end reward... How many times do youneed to forget? This is the system we've had for going on 2 years.... Its not there to punish you. Its not that hard to go get your end reward.....

I know I often forget to get the end rewards because they absolutly suck. Maybe start putting some good named on the end list and people would remember. Like Trenal.

Or up the loot level on the end quest givers for raids so it would be at least half decent?

No, it isn't that hard to get end rewards, but as someone who raids a lot, I still tend to forget one every once in a while. I really hate the feeling I get when I volunteer to have my cleric run "Raid X" with the guild to help out, then have to bail at the last minute because I did something dumb and forgot to get the reward.

I wouldn't make this priority number 1 for the devs, but it would still be nice to get changed sooner or later - unless there is some benefit to the current system that I'm missing.

i don't raid evey time my timers up, so i find it particularly frustrating when i do forget(rarely). i mean come on, i finished this raid a week ago and i can't run it again?!

I'm actually going to agree with the OP and say that the timer, which is there to keep you from getting access to the raid chest (not the end reward) too frequently, should start counting down once you complete the quest (where you get the raid chest), not once you pick up your end reward (which is **** and doesn't matter anyway).

It's not that hard to get your end reward, but it's also not that hard to turn around three times before unlocking your car, and you'd hate it if you had to do that every time you wanted to drive somewhere. (Which is to say, from a UI perspective, just because something isn't that hard doesn't mean it's working as well as it could be.)

It's so ridiculously easy to get the end reward there's no excuse for not. Exiting the Titan Raid, VON, Reaver, and DQ raid puts you in the same zone, usually within 10 seconds run to the reward giver. If you don't get it, it's your own fault. Stop blaming the game for something so patently easy to do.

I will agree with the Original post, that your timer should not reset till you loot you end chest, whether you forgot or whether it just sucked. This will end frustration about spending all the time and the drop rates.

2ndly, make the chests only spawn upon quest completion....that will fix that other problem

For all normal chests, players who are not in the dungeon at the time the chest is opened with not get loot from the chest and will not be able to have loot re-assigned to them. For all raid chests, players who are not in the dungeon at the time the raid boss is killed will not have loot generated for them and cannot have loot re-assigned to them.

1) Talk to NPC to get quest ~or~ walkup.
2) Run quest.
3) Talk to NPC to complete quest.

I agree... While we should always run to pick up our reward I sometimes miss it because raids often take me to the end of a long night of gaming and I have to run off before wife agro sets in. My fault, but still, no reason I can think of the timer shouldn't start when the raid ends.

I said only put the chests in upon COMPLETION, not when the boss dies..... How can you misread that
