hmmm my trade thread has turned into a gen chat bout w/p's....yay lol but hey u idiot up there talkin bout how much short swords are sooo much better than daggers when it comes to w/p...we cant all be picky bout 1 or 2 point differences in damage, EVEN if that one point of damage would make a tiny difference in gettin through dr its deff. not worth crying over and being picky. MOST of all when u can get one like mine for a whole hell of alot cheaper...like how im trading it.

o btw i have a stat damage barb and yes i prefer it over most other barbs considering they work alot better in quests and also own in pvp...having greater 2 weapon fighting improved crit and everything along with the massive hp and str. it is not hard to bypass dr or anything..and if all else fails!!!! i just pull out my greater banes and duel weild them. i have found this alot better then SoS. .. and why would u like to know my char. names?

but im a loot runner so the first thing I wanna be able to do is kill mobs as fast as possible

have a dual wielding barb 12/ranger 2 on Ghallandra. he rocks, has gtwf with imp. crit pierce. i use a ss in off hand and a rr rapier in my right. both are w/p and I have a 18.5 umd so i beat the rr :P . i can easily outkill my thf human fighter, its plain and simple there are less stat numbers than hp. end bosses, i just bane weaps . dual disrupters for undead (one rapier one kukri) and dual banishers ( one rapier and one light mace). rage + stat damage + lots of hit points + csw usage = fun

i imagined buffed i had a halfling 14 barb planned with a 20-24 buffed so i know its possible

*shrugs* you had the message up for like 2 weeks or something. I was begining to think that the general public valued w/p daggers less then tome pages. I am shocked that BGP didn't rape you first.

Besides you sure seemed happy to get Skiver 2 weeks before it went public that the preraid was highly exploitable.

As for all this talk about w/p Barbs being unstoppable, Kaptann Insano has partied with 3 such builds so far and has left them in the dust. The last being Thoracks build who only had 1/5 my kill count.

I think a good way to compare w/p builds is as follows. The general poorly equipped noob will never compete kill wise against any build with w/p weapons. My ranger who duel wields w/p rapiers usually out kills noob groups. I dont attribue this to any amazing skill. Its just an extraordinary difference of weapon quality between myself and the noob. Obtaining w/p is alot less complicated then aquiring an elemental burst greater bane greataxe for each enemy race. So when you compare your w/p character, compare him to a group of good tanks and not just noobs with a +5 great axe or the ever decieving SoS. You will see a big difference.

So is the w/p Barb unstoppable? No, its just quicker and easier then the real juggernaut!
