    Default Duo team Fighter versatility

    Hello community,
I was looking up builds for a 2 person group dynamics. My friend was going to play a Cleric and I was thinking of the Pally/rogue for the idea of getting UMD high enuff for scrolls and wand use--among other benfits.

I was wondering if there is a fighter/rogue build that would be good for solid AC decent dps and still be able to have a good nuff UMD for versatility sake.

    Thanks for the inputs =D

I think the typical all-around builds are the batman builds or builds of similar types (Mostly Fighter/Pally3/Rog2). With two levels of rogue you get evasion and a boost to your skills (helps a lot with umd). Three paladin levels gives you immunities, higher AC due to aura and bonus to saves. Just look around the fighter forums there are lots of builds around the idea of UMD and/or evasion tanks.

Also, remember that simply having 1 level of paladin, ranger or cleric gives you access to cure wands. The umd will only be for scrolls.

My suggestion would be to have a battle cleric (have cleric levels instead of fighter levels, cleric/pally/rogue if you want both of you to be able to do traps/umd or simple cleric/fighter) and then fighter/pally/rog.

Might consider a halfling....maybe as the cleric. Take the halfling companion enhancement line.
Just a theory though...haven't tried it.
I gave up a life of farming to become an Adventurer.
