Default This build ok? (NEED FEEDBACK!)

(My first post was deleted... or made too close to maintenance but here it is again)
I want to make a good (NOT GREAT) pvp cleric BUT can still heal DECENT in pve.
I really do not know were to spend my base stat points besides wisdom!
Also not real sure about skill points.
(Also there is no tome or +4stat points or any gear since i have non of those)

    I welcome ALL feed back!

I did leave feedback, but the forums got rolled back and it got lost......

DOnt remeber it all, but here it is ina nutshell.

Stats are Decent, I'd put your skill points in Concentration and Balance.

Your feats are a bit funny... Especially the Order your taking them.. maximize at first makes no sense. Your already strapped for Spel points early and Heighten at l3 makes even less sense.. Theres simply nothing worth heightening until at least 7th or 9th level.....

For PvP, Enchantment focus is pretty mediocure.... You'd do better with Necromancy....

Smiting isnt going to win you many awards either... theres just not enough good damage seplls...

A Null Speced clericd throwing a Harm Followed by a Searing light (Max Empowered) can pretty much take out anyone.

Personally, I'd drop strength and dex, and up con (for HPs) and cha (I like the Heal-over-time enhancement and the replace spell point enhancements).

    But I don't PvP ....

Heres my Null Cleric build. I dotn care for PvP, but he does pretty darn good when I do jump in the pit.

I also swapped out Heighten for Quicken. Love both on this build... Dunno wat I'm going to do for a feat now at l15. Get Heighten back or IMT? Decisions Decisions....

    Most things important in PvP:
    HP, Saves, Instant DMG, Evasion.

I would increase your con and dex to at least 14 to maximize saves/hp per point spent.

    Spells:
    • Defic Vengance - Auto hit and can do about 350 on crit + failed save and no resistance exists
    • Searing Light - Can crit for 450 and no save and no resistance exists
    • Nimbus of Light - Good backup for when other spells on cooldown and also no save crit for about 250 and no resistance exists
    • Dispel/Grtr Dispel - No one likes being dispelled or slow , combo with harm
    • Harm - If in Tavern Brawl and opponent using Silver flame 10 charge necklace, worthless to try.
    • Comet - Great for hitting dodgers with decent willsave and no evasion.

    Classes
    • 28 saves without GHero is highly recommended, mainly fort(FTS = CLR death)
    • 14 CLR Human Cleric will lack in saves
    • Build for level 20 in mind. Level 17 cleric opens last of cleric spells. 17/2pala = saves but no evasion, 17/2monk = evasion and decent saves and lack a little in reflex as a human.

    Start Stats:
    • HP and saves are most important.
    • Con should always be invested at minimum 6 points into.
    • If plans for 2 pala then invest 6 points into Cha.
    • If non-Pala splash, then invest 6 points into Dex as well.
    • Starting Str isnt that important in PvP if your casting.
    • Max out Wis constantly

    Skills:
    • Jump always important for dodging and avoiding slow movement during cast times
    • Balance because if your tripped, you need to get up quick
    • UMD because you can always use RR items . 8 base cha human still = 24(3cha+2item+5item+8.5skill+2boost+4ghero)
    • Concentration not that important PvP since quicken will be on but PvE its helpful

    Feats:
    • Max, Empower, Quicken are musts
    • Enlarge if in Arena
    • Save feats if lacking
    • Focuses aren't worth it in long run, since real pvp builds have high enough saves that +1 more wont help
    • Toughness since HP is important
    • Heighten not worth it because same as focuses, increases the costs to much, and searing light and nimbus both dont have saves.

    Enhancements
    • Max out smite all enhancements
    • Dont bother with SR since all of the spells above have no SR check.
    • Take Human Verse I at least just for +2 save clicky. Helps versus Main enemy FTS if your not splash pala. Swap it for your Cleric Concentration I.
    • Dont bother with Cleric Energy of the Zealot IV since SP bonus doesnt help as much as its costing you in PvP.
    • Take Human Adapt II in Con or Dex to help with save/hp
    • Take Cleric Life Magic IV at least for PvE

Hope this helps. I love my Cleric in both PvP and PvE and I'm sort of balanced between both PvE, PvP. 13Clr/1Wiz(Took 1 clr for shield spell(before nightshield came out), and for 1 feat) human atm with plans of 17clr/2monk/1wiz in the end which will give me decent all round saves along with more feats then most clr builds . Also looking foward to sunburst instead of comet PvP but makes me think I better get evasion first. 6d6 with all the light/smite enhancements with AOE effect will be more reliable and more damaging then comet. Will also need to get fort save and HP up to withstand a casters max, empower, 16d6 horrid wilting which is untype damage.

For reference my build is 13CLR/1wiz human 32pt
    starting stats
    str 8
    dex 14
    con 14
    int 12
    wis 18
    cha 8

HP 257 (can get 59 more with minos legen, +2 con tome, toughness feat, rage).
    SP 1379

    saves currently unbuff/buffed
    fort 23/30
    ref 17/23
    will 28/35

Current feats(in no particular order): MT, Improved MT, Max, Empower, Extend, Quicken, Greater Fortitude
With Mod 6 and taking 2 monk: MT, Imp MT, Max, Empower, Extend, Quicken, Toughness, *unsure (lightning ref if monk2 doesnt give, enlarge if I do arena more, or toughness)

wow thank you guys lots of help!

Now is it just me or do drawfs not jump as high as other races?

and do clerics that are a little!!! (A little) offensive use melee in pve or pvp at all to the point i need to worry about str?(Because i like glowing weapons and i like even more to hit with them :P)

In PVP, early on, it's nice for a Cleric to be able to swing and hit other people. Throw a Command or Hold Person, beat with heavy mace, rinse, repeat. Later on you have access to some pretty cool spells for PVP purposes. You won't be swinging since you won't need to. Keep Wisdom maxed and don't overlook Spell Pen.

I would suggest having a bit of strength for wearing all the heavy stuff, lugging around the full plate you pull in every other chest and for being able to melee a bit while working up to the higher levels.

A well placed Blade barrier and kiting with Max, Empower, Extend, and quicken and kiting will outdps any buffs you put on yourself to try and melee and is much cheaper, Hehe sp efficient; 1 max, empower, extend BB crit + kiting can kill kaitang in LOTD on norm for about 80 SP. 2 BBs if you dont crit. Also I started to melee in PvP just for fun(but not efficient). Nothing better to insult someone with a 8 str base toon with 18 ac killing melee toons with a tenderizer.
