Moatage, Rhoat, Rhad
same pattern i would think.
Level 15 is 1 each of 7, 6 and 5 level spells
Level 16 is 1 Level 8 spell

In PnP they do get 5 spells of level 1 and 2 but not in DDO. I suspect that it was a decision made to help balance them with wizards, although it makes less sense as we approach level 16 IMO.
Also sorcerers only get 3 spells of level 6 and above as a maximum, which only comes into play above character level 16 so we won't have to worry about it for quite awhile.
Hopefully they will just make max spells a flat 4 per level, and keep the same progression. I'd expect 1 more spell for 5,6,7,8, by 16.
My choices:
Level 5... Mindfog perhaps.
Level 6, Reconstruct.
Level 7, DB Fireball, or Otto's.
Level 8, Trap the Soul. Instadeath spell for undead... enough said.

From the WDAs:
Forces a creature's life force and its material body into a gem on a failed Will save. Although this essentially 'kills' the target, it is not a death effect and functions on creatures such as undead (but not most constructs). This spell requires a khyber dragonshard as a special material component, and can affect creatures of up to 30 hit dice.
(Note: The quality of the gem required varies on the hit dice of the targeted creature. Three versions of this spell exist using a spell selector, appropriate for creatures of up to 10 HD, 20 HD, and 30 HD.)

30 HD? Any idea what types of HD numbers we're looking at for quests like Wiz King or Temple of Vol? Why do I think this spell might not be all it's cracked up to be?

Well, I'd argue that in Wizking, very few undead. However, I can't speak for the Orchard on elite. Elementals in the Reavers Fate have >25HD, I know that for sure. So I imagine elite undead in the Orchard may have >30.
To Borro, KHYBER dragonshards are not SYBERIS dragonshards. See the difference?? Khyber Dragonshards will be puchaseable at reagent vendors most likely.

Syberys dragonshards are in orbit around the planet so they only fall every so often, but the kyber can be found in the earth. So kyber are much easier to get and just going to assume that they are going to be small and have the same cost difference that stoneskin and teleport materials have.
Really? I assumed the spell would have a find-as-treasure-only component which would have made it suck very badly. If the shards can be that common, then I may need to rethink my choices...
I was strongly considering the irresistible dance..
Devs: Thanks for making Druids available to VIPs without the pack. This more than anything, has made me want to buy the pack.
