Ok i would like a FAIR trade, I am not looking to be make out better than the person I trade with, but would like a FAIR trade, I know that rings are better than gloves, I have a no rr +6 str ring, I need a set of +6 str gloves for one of my characters. So if someone can offer me a FAIR trade for both of us, I will take it.

Hey lucky i will make you an offer for the ring, i have the gloves no rr no damage, and +6 int. googles, i will also throw in an epic weapon, i have some of each except for distruptors. I am on most of the time. I play way too much. Look for Ludotricces, Torlad, Gorthmog, Luthien, or Tavros. how are rings better? do ring of +6 str really give +10 str?!!?!?!?


























it's based on your build and the items you have, not which is better than another.

what you didn't know that?? yeah a +6 str ring gives a A+8(not 10) to your str. all i am saying is that people seem to prefer rings for thier stat items due to nice raid items. such as if you have the bramble casters, you cant' wear +6 str gloves and if you have the bracers from the abbot with teh +6 dex on them.. again, no bracers for str, so that leaves your belt which maybe you are also wearing the electric haze, so now you have no way to have +6 str. so three very nice named items make it diffacult for you to have a +6 str, now you can with a ring, oh and if you just want to bother people by putting down there posts, don't. Rings are in higher demand then other slot items largely in part because everyone has 2 ring slots they need to fill as opposed to 1 slot for everything else.

Actually, it's mostly becaue of named items. For example, Cha rings are really popular because sorcerers reserve their helm for Minos and their Cloak for Reaver's napkin.

Every class should reserve their helm for minos legion Stats all come in specific slots except rings. Rings come in every stat. Besides the fact that you get 2 slots to work with, since you can get any stat in a ring and that stat you are looking for may not be available in another slot is a large part of it as well.

listen kid, I in no way shape or form put down your trade thread, I was just simply asking why are rings better, and if you weren't 13, you would have put a reply similar to those below the above quoted post. And if you aren't 13, well... I can't think of an excuse.

if you are going to factor in raid loot being better because it leaves your hand slot open, then you should factor in the titan belt for not needing str rings at all for stats.

like i said in my original post(a bit shorter), it's not that one is better than another, it's your build and what items you have that make slots more useful. Not that one is instantly more useful than another because it gives the same bonus.

your point is valid for some ninety, but for the large majority, getting a stat into the ring slot is more desirable. It's just the way things have worked out.
