I was wondering if for the holidays, bard songs could be replaced with Seasonal music (not slow stuff - think Transiberian orchestra). It would also be a bit of fun if armor / clothing / etc. came out in Christmas reds / greens. Just for grins and giggles, I created a halfling bard named Jingle Bells and created a new guild called Santa's Wrecking Crew...running with the motto of "Don't get on Santa's naughty list!"
New build - 8th toon ... we'll see what happens - but think some seasonally inspired inspiration would provide some different fun.
It sounds like they had played the entire game out - they would have likely left before the next update regardless of whether the abbot functioned properly. I am getting close myself. Although I am tired of levelling characters up I have a couple of char ideas that I am trying out, but after that.

Ask a Loremaster.
This might be a little late in the game to request this, and I'm sure it's been brought up:
But is there any way to get these HP limits to scale? It's going to affect a remarkably small subset of creatures, and while it affects *current hitpoints*, why would we bother with them?
Blindness would work better, even though it requires a save. Blindness doesn't really work, anyhow, as the creatures can still find you just fine, they only get a miss chance. Maybe it would be useful on bosses, but there isn't going to be a boss under the sun that this will work on, and by the time they even get within range for the crappy "blinded for rounds" part, the fight is half over. Why take up a spell slot for a spell you can maybe use 1/20th of the time of a mission? If a creature has gotten down to 300 hitpoints, most casters would just as soon throw a fireball/bladebarrier/other damage spell and kill them. The few you want to keep alive some times... it just seems not so useful with the inflated hitpoints.
Stun is better as it has definite real-world applications, but the hitpoint barriers make it even harder to use.
Perhaps have maximize and empower increase the hitpoint ranges with an increase in spell point usage?
Power Word: Blind
* Enchantment (Compulsion)
* Level: Sor/Wiz 7
* One creature with 600 or fewer current hit points is blinded.
o
+ 150 or fewer HP: Blinded permanently
+ 151 to 300 HP: Blinded for minutes
+ 301 to 600 HP: Blinded for rounds
Power Word: Stun
* Enchantment (Compulsion)
* Level: Sor/Wiz 8
* One creature with 450 or fewer current hit points is stunned.
o 150 or fewer HP: Stunned for a long duration
o 151 to 300 HP: Stunned for a moderate duration
o 301 to 450 HP: Stunned for a short duration

Confirmed mail - Mail sent by the game (ie auction mail), alt characters, current friends, current guild mates, and admins. Unconfirmed mail - Mail from players who are not currently on your friends list or in your guild. There is also a "Delete All" button which allows you to delete all unconfirmed mail.
I am curious to see how many people actually reply back, thus giving an idea of how many people look through the unconfirmed list, and how many just delete-all.

Like most of these changes. Please make Power Word Stun have no effect in PvP (I'm not a PvPer, but I don't want to see the spell made weaker to preserve PvP balance).
I don't have a zerging problem.
I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.
Yup, it would be very nice for all HD-capped spells. Not necessarily the same increase (+100% HP/HD for Maximize), but if we spend the SP, give some benefit. In theory, we could have item affix (enchantment), Metamagics, and even an enhancement to boost HP/HD capped spells. But, one at a time until we figure out game balance please. I'd rather not see all introduced at once and NEED all three to successfully boost spells.
I can't recall. WIll there be a Dev note for this week due to holidays?

Apparently it's tough to copy and paste the WDA from what was already written. If DDO Europe has it, it's already been written. Why hasn't it been posted?
