Fighting Champion Event

The 1st Fighting Championships on Thelanis.

Depending on the success of this one...I may host additional fighting events (with different rules).

The first event will be in the Phoenix Tavern

1st prize a +1 Vorpal Dwarven Axe of Shatter (no rr) . Really it is a vorpal anyone can use it.
2nd prize you get to be Vorpaled by the 1st prize winner because you are the 1st loser.

The 1st competition is designed to show your brute strength, stamina, and overall ability to take a knock down beating.

Rules (as of 11:45 PM November 10, 2007)

1) Spectators Welcome, but please keep the general chat down to a minimum.

2) First 12 contestants only

3) Level 14 characters only please

4) 3 rounds per match, 2 loss elimination…match ups will be randomly chosen

5) You will join a group with me (and anyone else I choose to “listen” ***) for your fight.

6) Match winner goes on to next round (Winners Bracket and Losers Bracket)
Each fight is to the death (although, the friendly Priest in the Phoenix will hold your stone) or until you Yield.
Winner takes all.

7) NO ARMOR OR SHIELDS (except Armor Bracers/Mage Armor spell which can be provided upon request, Natural Armor which can be provided upon request, Protection item/spell which can be provided upon request, or Dodge bonus/feat/chatering ring/chaos guard),

8) NO WEAPONS, NO Bramble Casters, Demon Consort Bracers, or Robes that bite back,

9) NO SPELLS except rage & madstone rage (no blur cloak, no ring of shadows, displacement, or blur affects)

10) NO HEALING (no spells, pots, clickies, lay on hands, or eating food prior while in match)

11) Bard Songs (provided upon request) and Action Boosts are acceptable play.

12) Winner gets to …test… the Vorpal Axe at the awards ceremony

We will be watching and know what spell affects you have on. Anyone caught cheating will be disqualified and dismissed from the tournament.

WARNING! I am not competing. I am the referee. Therefore, I reserve the right to change the rules. This is a Roll Playing event. I may decide to add an additional challenge to any fight, and you may not like it!
