Actually you forgot a forth, the noxious embers from the Abbot also has greater arcane lore, but most prefer the Torc in that item slot.

To get your GA from BD scale robe is a big hit. You will not only lose out on better potential robes, but not gain the added effect of reducing other items you need carry. Finally, the grind for that poor item is worse than grind for the skiver. At least you can solo grind easily for skiver.

Mainhand: Scrolls whenever needed, don't need to cast spells while doing a scroll. Sup potency 6 when not scrolling.

This approach isn't realistic to me. I'll cycle through two mass cures/heals and use a heal scroll on the tank to extend my mana.

Currently you're looking at about 40M GP for a skiver and 30M for a robe. The elven robe is < 1M.
