Default Damage Action Boost - Anyone use it?

Hey just wondering how to squeeze more DPS out on my Barbarian and got me thinking how many of you use the Damage Action Boost Enhancement chain.

...and those that do use it over maybe the DR Action Boost or at the expense of more Con/Rage/Toughnes enhancements do you find it gives good value for money?

Looking forward to hearing peoples thoughts

    Cheers

I used to use it all the time, but then it got nerfed.

Now I just carry the sprint boost and the fighter haste boost (multiclass barb).

I carry 3 or 4 levels of it, and use it to 0 almost everytime between shrines. If I feel I need to rage, I hit it at the same time. I will also hit if I feel that something is taking a long time to whittle down in HP. I would say I get about 15-20 additional points of damage (maybe be closer to 10, but it's late and that's what I seem to remember)

    Uh 3 or 4 levels = +4 or +5 dmg, not 20.

I had it when it was +10 dmg and mixed in with the DR boost. Was pretty nice.

Right now I just stay raged 100% for more consistant damage. Have 6 DR and 6 sprint boosts to burn as I go anyways so little room to use anymore. In terms of kill vs dmg taken vs speed of killing to avoid dmg, 10 dmg is better then 15 DR, but 15 DR is better then 5 dmg so I go that route.

I use it on characters that already have human versatility, but I don't thihk I'd spend points to get it alone.

Hey cool thanks for the info, maybe I'll give it a shot for a while and see if its worth the AP's or might try to work it in after the lvl cap unless there is a whole stack of new enhancement goodness to choose from

Sounds like I am using all the same gear as you (except the choker) that extra 15pts of damage per crit was what i was looking at It's the old queston of what to I give up to get it and is it worth the trade off...? Hmmm decisions decisions.....
