    Default What I would love to see in regards to raids in the future.

    It is my thought that there should be 3 raids per 2 mods. (every level cap)

    The first raid would be like tempest spine, essentially a very large zone with no prereqs and 12 people can do it. Alot of mobs, alot of small chests, alot of optionals.

    The second raid should be something like the reaver. A grind of getting whatever it is you need to get in, but once flagged you are always flagged, you zone in and fight the main named and whatever assorted friends he has, no prequest to get in.

    The third raid should be a raid zone. This should be the culmination of a story arc. Maybe multiple end named bosses or something.

    Any input from the froumites would be loved. Thanks all for listening.

    also make raids for all levels or at least every 3 levels.

    I think most of us can really get behind this idea.

    Of course there have been what, 5000 threads asking for another tempest style raid? How many have we gotten so far?

    Zero. In two years.

    Perhaps we can start a pool to see if Mod 6 has a raid like this.

    Match made in heaven!

    In my opinion all the "real raids" should be near or at the level cap. After all, their primary function is providing something to do besides loot-runs and leveling lowbies.

    Stormreaver is nothing but a loot run. The named loot is just bound and common, unlike the rarer, named loot you find in PoP, Litany of the Dead or Temple of Vol.


    I'd really like to see communication from the Devs re the 12-person, at-or-over-level-cap long quest that lots of us have been holding out for. Feel free to reuse the Tempest Spine map, it's awesome and noone knows what's outside the spire anyway. But as this is, I believe, the #3 most requested change to the game posted on the forums, (other than fixing the Abbot raid and changing the VON/DQ flagging) some Dev words would be much appreciated!

    Thumbs up Independant 12-man Raids

    I agree...my Guild would certainly enjoy one or more raids without any requirements...so if 12 of us want to do something together, we don't have to worry about who is flagged for what, whose timer is not up yet etc.

    Many times we have run Tempest only because it's the only quest we can run like that. When we run a Raid, it's not all about the loot, it's also about the fun and comraderie of twelve of us questing together.

    An explorer area or two for groups of 12 would also be greatly appreciated.

    I also have to ask for a raid without hard-# requirements. Sure, you want 12 lvl 12's doing a lvl 12 raid, but what about when you are lvl 16 and want to do a lvl 10 raid? You should be allowed to go in and complete the raid with 4 or so people. You can do that now on some of the raids, but others require more (abbot, I may be looking at you right now...).

    i would love to see a raid without prereqs..maybe one with a terrasque..lol we can get wish spells then..

    I really really wish they would add a level 15 or 16 tempest spine-like raid in the next module. I'm all for a low level 12 man tempest-like raid too but the high level one is more important. Both would be better.

    Here is an idea. A low level "explorer/slayer" area that is set up for a raid so that it is way to hard for the given level. Maybe a level 4-7 explorer area that is set up like the old poison quest on elite (lots o casters).

    But whatever works for me. More tempest-like raids = more fun. I hate grinding. Tempest isn't really done as much as it would be because the loot is no longer anything people need. They only do it for fun now.
