Or they could just de-nerf/unfix Divine Favor
WotC has put a cap on Divine favor at +3 because it can be used in conjunction with another spell (cant remember the name) to become unbalancing in a PnP campaign setting. Of course in DDO it does not unbalance Paladins it just weakens pure paladins, especially because the spell that it had synergy in PnP is not offered in DDO. This was not Turbines doing, it came down from Wizards of the Coast that Turbine had to make the change. The other alternative is that Turbine could impliment the other spell![]()
I like the idea btw and I always stay pure as a Paladin.
To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women!
Go for the eyes Boo!
Most recent mod6 notes say that Holy Sword will create a Holy Burst weapon, rather than just a Holy.
So that's a step.
I feel like, of any class, paladin should either be a small splash (which is themetically wrong, but works mechnically) or a pure class.
That being said, I'm working on a pally 11/ftr 3 right now. So even I, with my feelings, don't do it.
I play on Ghall...Gall..Galli...The new Fernia. Lifetaker, Heartbreaker, and Battlemage
