It's not just detect secret doors, its thats +14 spot for someone who normally doesn't wear a wis item like me.. Being you can't tab stealthed enemies anymore, spot is a very important skill - Very nice googles indeed.

Because it really would be an uneven trade, but a trade I'm willing to make nonetheless. Seriously. You can buy +13 (And they are +13, not +14) spot goggles on the AH for say...50,000 platinum? And you can buy an ancient band on auction for say...2,000,000 platinum? At least, that's what the guy in a thread somewhere around here is trying to sell the ring for.

The only thing extra that the goggles have, that make them 'cool' is the detect secret doors. You can get clickies for that, you can't get clickies for heavy fortification. Plus Heavy Fortification is on a ring, high demand. Detect Secret doors is...on a clickie...whoo.

So...in conclution. I suppose you have a good point. I'm just letting the public know that I'm willing to gouge my eyes out without any work on their part, to get an item that really isn't that 'cool,' rather than just 'convienent.'

P.S I really didn't ask any question at all. I was Making a rhetorical statement. Those where the things I had to offer. Period, I was just stating it in a...well.. rhetorical way.

Don't "gouge your eyes out". The optics will be useless to you if you do.
